A portal rimmed with orange sparks appeared in the headmaster's office, startling Dumbledore so badly that he nearly dropped his teacup.
"How was that, Headmaster? My portal magic is pretty good, right?"
"I spent several days just making those orange spark effects."
Dumbledore's mouth twitched. Only this little devil would have nothing better to do than add special effects to magic.
"What sort of magic is this?" Dumbledore asked curiously. "I don't remember it at all."
"It's only natural that you haven't seen it." Oren casually drew another portal.
The two stepped through it, and Dumbledore said in surprise, "My boy, this seems to be inside your suitcase?"
It could actually teleport directly into another space. Dumbledore had to admit that this magic did seem rather impressive.
"That's right. Come on, Headmaster, let's go inside and talk."
Dumbledore???
"Go inside? Which building? That melon-watcher's shack or that barn?"
Oren...
Dumbledore waved his wand, and a stone house appeared in the clearing.
"Impressive, Headmaster. You just waved your hand and made a matchbox."
Dumbledore...
"Forget it, let's just talk here. Can I take a close look at this magic?"
"No problem." Oren stuffed the skill book into Dumbledore's hands and quietly waited for him to put on his mask of pain.
Sure enough, after flipping through barely two pages, Dumbledore put on his mask of pain.
"My boy, perhaps you should let me see the notes you compiled on this magic instead."
"Sure." Oren handed over his notes as well. Before Dumbledore had flipped through many pages, his mask of pain returned.
Of the ten pages of parchment, nine and a half were about special effects. He might as well chew through the original book.
"My boy, if I remember correctly, shouldn't it be Defence Against the Dark Arts right now?"
