Ice Empress has lived for nearly 400,000 years and witnessed the rise and fall of the soul beast clan. Despite her authority, she carries a persistent fear of her next Heavenly Tribulation. The God Realm remains an unreachable legend to her until Li Changsheng offers a path toward it 72 80.

She rules the Ice Jade Scorpion Clan from an emerald-colored Ice Palace within a towering ice mountain. Although she commands considerable authority, decisions affecting the entire Extreme North ultimately belong to Snow Empress 70 73 77.

Negotiations with Li Changsheng

The Titan Snow Demon King brings Li Changsheng and Feng Ling to the Ice Palace after fighting Feng Ling. Ice Empress silences its complaints, examines the visitors with her spiritual power, and initially rejects cooperation because humans and soul beasts are natural enemies. Her hostility gives way to urgency when Li Changsheng mentions her approaching tribulation 70 71.

A demonstration of higher-level life power persuades her to admit the visitors for negotiations. Li Changsheng then offers access to the Ten-Thousand-Year Mysterious Ice Cave. Although the discovery proves his knowledge, Ice Empress still struggles to believe that a god’s descendant has actually appeared before them 78 79.

After absorbing the ice marrow, the empresses immediately attract Heavenly Tribulation. Ice Empress insists they cannot undergo it above Dragon City, and both return to the Extreme North. Initially frightened by Li Changsheng’s absence, she steadies herself after Snow Empress urges her to rely on her own strength 80 81 82.

Their resistance eventually fails against the final World-Destroying Lightning. Li Changsheng intervenes with the Destruction Scepter and Life Ancient Tree, with the tree shielding Ice Empress directly.
