Just a few minutes before Carl called Pietro.
Black Widow had taken the initiative to become his teacher of love, giving him a reproduction lesson involving human kinetic engineering.
Total duration... two and a half minutes!!
That was why Carl had heard her telling Pietro to get a towel during the call.

Black Widow's next words plunged Pietro into despair.
"When I was young, my sister and I joined the Red Room, where we learned etiquette, culture, dancing, and other skills, along with the firearms training, close-quarters combat, and other killing techniques required of spies... My current identity is a Level 7 agent of S.H.I.E.L.D."
"My current mission is to travel to Sokovia, find the identity of the superpowered individual in the video, and take the opportunity to determine the specifics of Hydra's human experiments..."
Pietro clutched his hair in agony and let out a grief-stricken howl. "Why did this happen? Why would you do this to me!!"
At that moment.
His entire view of love collapsed.
No matter what, he could not believe that the fiery, seductive woman before him, who had utterly bewitched him, was actually an agent!!
What happened to our vows of eternal love?
What happened to staying together for life?

That person was Dr. Samuel Sterns, who had little presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In The Incredible Hulk, Dr. Samuel Sterns had independently created a serum capable of suppressing Hulk's emergence using only the blood sample Bruce Banner had sent him.
That alone was enough to prove his scientific ability.
Later, after the head injury inflicted by Abomination accidentally came into contact with Hulk's blood sample, his brain mutated, increasing his intelligence hundreds or even thousands of times over!!!
However, during Hulk and Abomination's battle, Black Widow took the opportunity to capture him and successfully send him into a S.H.I.E.L.D. prison.
During that time, Dr. Samuel Sterns helped S.H.I.E.L.D. solve many technical problems.
But this also made Nick Fury wary of him.
He then used the excuse that Sterns's super-intelligence was too difficult to control
and directly sent him to the Raft, the highest-security prison specifically for supercriminals.
