Ur reached the end of the alley and looked outside.

Ork-born eyes let him adapt to the dim light like a nocturnal predator. He needed no equipment to see clearly.

Beyond the alley lay a street leading to the sewage treatment plant's main control room, a building that towered over everything around it.

Though he was about a hundred meters from the target, there was no mistaking those massive double iron doors.

A flower bed before the main control building was illuminated by the searchlights outside. Ur had not noticed earlier that the humans had prepared lighting equipment. It seemed they had made some preparations after all; four searchlights bathed the area in stark white.

The water in a nearby settling tank had vanished, replaced by a pool of foul blood.

Just looking at that building gave Ur a strong sense that something was wrong, as though the beast within him could sense some danger.

After watching for a while, Ur noticed a faint green light shining from the main control building's front windows. It had been there for some time now, and he had no more doubts—this was the moment to defeat the enemy.

"Let's move along the edge of this road. Stay hidden as much as we can, then head left. Maybe we can find another entrance."

Without caring whether the others understood, Ur started moving first.

Fortunately, everyone who had set out with him this time was an elite Kommandoz. They were all highly "professional" warriors, slowly advancing along the roadside under cover of shadows.

So far, whether they had been spotted or not, the enemy had shown no reaction.

At the same time, the main control building flashed outward twice more.

Two minutes later, the team reached the outer wall and continued forward along one side.
