Gogu paid no attention to those Shrimp. They were not worth hunting. He had better prey.

"Boss! The whole front's on fire!"

His adjutant made an evasive move as well, seizing the chance to overtake Gogu and trying to dissuade the warlord.

The roar of engines drew the attention of several soldiers fleeing the fire, and they turned toward Gogu. But before they could react, tongues of flame spewed from the twin machine guns mounted at the front of the beast bike. One of them was torn to pieces, while the other two dropped dead.

The adjutant jumped off before his bike had even come to a stop. His motorcycle skidded sideways to a halt at the edge of the clearing, its wheels still spinning.

He twisted open the cap of a beacon, intending to call in air support from the rear.
