Background / History

Early life

In his previous life, Chen Changhe was a craftsman whose Kirin Arm was said to be unmatched. An accident sent him to Blue Star, a parallel Earth where people can become gods. He lost his parents while young, was raised by his grandfather, and entered Deity High School through Federation educational subsidies after his grandfather’s death. 1

His initial Divine Domain was considered a disastrous start: its core kin were mushrooms, with only ordinary Mushroom Men as its living population. His unique ability, Life Sacrifice, and his ability to accelerate biological growth became the foundation of his later rise. 1 2

High-school rise

Chen Changhe secretly developed Ork followers and began studying war-oriented divine spells after observing that battle allowed Snotling Orks to evolve into stronger forms. 6 He defeated Bian Jianqiang, reported the incident to the police, and received Divine Realm Territory God Cards as compensation after Bian’s Demigod parents failed to retaliate against him. 10

His victory revealed that he could cast Battle Howl, breach another student’s Divine Domain Core, and command more than ten thousand Snotling Orks. He then sought to transfer away from Class Five because of its hostile atmosphere and his conflict with Zhu Caigou. 11

During the school assessment, he was the only student to continue into the eleventh round, where he used layered defensive and offensive divine spells to defeat five thousand Blazing Crocodile Dragons. 21 22 In the second phase, he prioritized mining, shipbuilding, sealing techniques, and resource extraction over immediate point-scoring. 22 23

Ocean campaign and commercial expansion

Rather than blindly assaulting the Fishmen, Chen Changhe established coastal bases, mined the seabed, gathered intelligence from Lobster People, and exploited tensions among the plane’s native Demigods. 29 He allied with the Lobster Person Demigod Gulu Gulu against the Fishmen, promising steel weapons in exchange for mineral gathering and military support. 30

After the campaign, he deployed over one million followers in a full-scale purge of the plane, extracting resource reserves equivalent to decades of the plane’s normal production. 37

He later freed Aileen from slavery, secured a recurring East China Military Corps procurement order, and began selling Ork-made weapons and equipment through A Divine Card Shop. 49 51 His dealings with the military expanded into major Ork Toxin orders and access to strategic resources. 60

Demigod and academy period

Chen Changhe entered the Divinity Training Grounds with an East China Military Corps divine flying vessel gifted by Shi Xicheng. 66 There, he partnered with Zhang Zuwen, acquired the Dragon Spellcaster Class God Card, and used the training grounds to gain authority, Hero Core levels, divine-official fragments, and combat experience. 75 77

He awakened the Creator Divinity naturally but kept the natural origin of his Fear Divinity concealed, recognizing that its exposure would make others regard him as dangerous. 91 92 At East China War Academy, he defeated senior student Lu Minning using only 100 Ork Heraldic Heavy Knights and their Squig mounts against her 10,000 dragon-blooded followers and two Hero Units. 153

Node Divinity and God King ascension

After entering the Title Plane World, Chen Changhe fought the Shadow Deity Juel Armand Stanis and eventually refined the plane world’s will into Node Divinity. This divine spark could absorb plane worlds and enabled Main God-level combat power. 164 166

Following the death of his father, Chen Weiping, Chen Changhe inherited the East China Military Corps and its pantheon. 167 Under his leadership, the corps expanded into a super corps and occupied dozens of Crystal Wall Plane worlds. 173 223

He is also notably cautious. He developed Divine Concealment Technique to a level that even Zheng Dongfeng could not penetrate, avoids exposing his true strength unnecessarily, and fabricated multiple versions of the Waaagh! Chronicles to establish a protective historical narrative around Waaagh!. 78 91 97

Despite his ruthlessness toward enemies and rivals, he is capable of trust and generosity toward those he accepts.
