Black Sail had not taken over the Wood Elf Plane all that long ago—only a little over fifty years by now.
The Wood Elf Plane was an exceptionally rich resource plane, filled with abundant potion resources and all manner of potion ingredients, many of which wizards had never seen before.
Wood elves were also an outstanding elven race. Born spellcasters, they possessed both magical talent and beautiful appearances, making them especially high-grade slave creatures.
After Black Sail took control of the Wood Elf Plane, it quickly developed the place into a potion ingredient cultivation base. Besides the ingredients native to the plane, vast fields of additional potion ingredients were planted there.
The environment there was highly suited to growing potion ingredients, and the materials produced were all of excellent quality.
Such abundant resources naturally represented immense profits. Many factions similar to the Giant Rock Merchant Guild wanted a share of those gains.
Black Sail had also signed contracts with quite a few factions, allowing some of them to cultivate potion ingredients on the Wood Elf Plane, or to directly purchase ingredients there, brew potions, and so on.
A complete and mature potion production chain had already formed there. Whether one cultivated or purchased potion ingredients, the costs were much lower, allowing factions like the Giant Rock Merchant Guild to save a considerable sum.
The scale of their potion business was enormous, so getting a share at a place of origin like the Wood Elf Plane, where raw materials were produced on such a massive scale, was extremely worthwhile.
Over the years, the Giant Rock Merchant Guild had always maintained business there.
The entire Wood Elf Plane was enormous, with five continents, nearly all of them planted with various potion ingredients.
