The Void Corridor itself was managed by the Wizard Council. Entrances were assigned to other Wizard Organizations merely to facilitate sending people inside, and every Wizard Organization had a certain number of slots.
Inside a heavily guarded building in Harbor City, Duke and Merrick used a teleportation array to reach an entrance to the Void Corridor.
Black Sail's teleportation array did not send people directly into the Void Corridor. It merely brought them to the entrance.
This place was clearly no longer in Harbor City, and perhaps not even on any continent of the main material plane.
Beneath their feet was an icy black metal platform engraved with massive, ancient runes. It stretched to the very edge of sight, as though floating in boundless emptiness.
There was no sky overhead, only a deep, twisting curtain of energy flowing with dreamlike colors. This curtain was the entrance to the Void Corridor.
