After a flash of light, Duke appeared in the teleportation array aboard the Elizabeth. It was no longer the same room he had arrived in before.
After the teleportation array at the Seventh Outpost had been destroyed, Black Sail had also dealt with the corresponding array aboard the Elizabeth, erasing every trace of it.
The purpose was to prevent the coordinates of the Wizard Plane from being exposed. It was not that they feared an invasion from the Devourer Plane; they did not have that kind of strength. What they feared was the plane coordinates being leaked.
After coming out, Duke went through the usual procedures, signed several documents, and left the Elizabeth.
This time, aside from the contribution points for the mission itself, he would also receive compensation. Altogether, it came to twenty thousand contribution points.
Duke's Black Sail contribution points had now reached over twenty-two thousand.
He planned to recuperate within Black Sail for some time afterward. The process of liquefying his spiritual power was already more than halfway complete, and it would not be long before he fully stepped into the rank of a liquefied wizard.
After Duke returned to Barren Island, he found that it had changed greatly. Lush trees shaded the island, and medicinal herbs grew in abundance.
While he had been away, the wood elves on Barren Island had maintained it well. The trees they had planted had all grown tall and dense.
There were also patches upon patches of herb gardens. Duke had ordered them to sow and cultivate these before, and they were all growing very well now.
Barren Island no longer showed any signs of desolation. Its once-barren soil had become exceedingly fertile.
When Duke arrived on Barren Island, quite a few wood elves were still working in the herb fields.
