Duke found a relatively flat area and summoned the Storm Dragon Eagle from the Light Divine Court.

The Storm Dragon Eagle's enormous body instantly occupied the entire area, and its powerful aura startled flocks of birds from the nearby forests into flight.

It stretched its massive wings, every feather gleaming with a metallic luster. Tiny arcs of electricity crackled around its body with low, muffled snaps.

Having just arrived, the Storm Dragon Eagle curiously looked around. It keenly sensed that this was a plane it had never visited before.

Daili instinctively took a step back, startled by the sudden appearance of the enormous creature. Only then did she realize it was the powerful being Duke had summoned.

The Storm Dragon Eagle's formidable aura gave Daili a direct sense of just how powerful this monster was. It would likely take at least an Archmage of the first level to subdue such a creature.

Duke gently stroked the Storm Dragon Eagle's lowered head. The dragon eagle affectionately rubbed against his palm, so docile that it looked nothing like a powerful creature capable of commanding wind and storms.

"It's a companion I met during my travels," Duke explained simply, without revealing too many details. "With it as our transport, we can reach Ice Wind Valley within half a day."

He lightly leaped onto the dragon eagle's broad back and extended a hand to Daili. "Come on. Hold on tight to me."

Daili hesitated for a moment before taking Duke's hand, allowing him to pull her onto the dragon eagle's back.

The Storm Dragon Eagle's feathers were far softer than she had imagined, making it very comfortable to sit on.
