They were in no hurry. With ample resources and manpower at their disposal, it was only a matter of time before they took Turus Territory.

With the Wizard Plane and numerous subsidiary planes supporting them from the rear, they had nothing to fear from a war of attrition.

The Devourer Plane, on the other hand, had a very low degree of unity among its forces.

The Devourer Plane had originally been centered around various City-states, each developing independently with little contact between them.

The disadvantages of that structure had now become apparent. There was not enough trust between the various factions for them to truly join forces, much less provide support without conditions.

All they cared about was their own interests. Whether the other City-states lived or died had little to do with them.

On top of that, many City-states already had old grudges and conflicts with one another. Now, they could hardly wait for the others to die.

This made things easier for the Allied Legion's offensive. What they considered now was not whether they could capture those City-states, but how to capture them at the lowest possible cost.

Turus Territory could have been taken with ease long ago. However, to be safe, the Allied Legion was still waiting for several nearby Allied Legions to complete their offensives. Once those forces joined up and attacked together, victory would be certain.

Thus, Goosepeak Fort had no combat operations for the time being, though the war was not far off.

Before long, they would officially begin the war against Turus Territory. For now, they were still in the prewar preparation stage.

Then there was the situation within the Seventh Squadron. Vivian had learned a little about the place and had gained a general understanding of it over the past few days.
