Duke planned to run some experiments through Robert while probing the secrets behind the Oracle Plane.

He had a hunch that investigating Water Star, where Robert lived, might yield useful information.

There had to be some connection between Water Star and the Oracle Plane, but for now, Duke had no way to travel to Water Star and investigate.

He had never met Robert in the real world, either, so he could not send him a letter through Messenger channels. Otherwise, he could have sent Robert a few small things.

He would have to wait until he grew strong enough to use more of his Divinity's powers before he could pass anything to his followers.

For now, there was little Duke could do to help Robert. He could only rely on Robert to train and gather information himself.

a massive springboard and logistics center for the next assault on the Weeping Blood Plain and, beyond it, the interior of Brunn Continent.

Every day, at every hour, a tremendous, heart-stopping roar echoed over Ironrock City.

Transport Airships poured from the three enormous holes in the sky. No longer occasional visitors, they came in vast formations like migrating birds, emerging one after another from the vortexes overhead and descending like a dense rain of black specks onto broad areas forcibly cleared inside and outside Ironrock City.
