Only by living long enough could one do whatever one wished.

If Black Zetsu had not lived so long, how could Otsutsuki Kaguya possibly have appeared?
As long as someone pursued immortality, Orochimaru would think more highly of them.
Orochimaru stuck out his tongue and curled it excitedly. "You don't need to worry about that."
"I've already developed a technique for cultivating the soul. It can greatly slow the rate at which the soul ages."
"Madara's Rinnegan has already been recovered. As long as you do not die unexpectedly, even if you die of old age, you can be revived."
"The advantage is that it can be done right now. The disadvantage is that you'll have to keep changing bodies."
"But cloning is very simple now. Just leave behind some cells, and they can be cloned later."
"Besides that, there's Living Corpse Reincarnation."
"Just like I used before, except the bodies I consume can now be clones."
"Though the body will still undergo the normal aging process."
Then Orochimaru glanced at Kimimaro.
"There is another method: create a Kekkei Mōra body, then use Soul Reincarnation. That way, you can live as long as Natsuki and will barely age."
Haku asked incredulously,
"Lord Orochimaru, can you create a Kekkei Mōra body now?"
Orochimaru smiled rather proudly. "Although this body of mine has not yet
