When Natsuki woke up, it was already around nine thirty in the morning.
He walked out of his room and found that, aside from himself, no one was home at Sasuke's house.
Natsuki was puzzled as well. "Where did everyone go?"
He opened a Space Door and stepped through it.
As space shifted, Natsuki arrived inside Orochimaru's laboratory.
Orochimaru was studying a list on a screen.
"Are the preparations complete?"
Orochimaru turned to look at Natsuki. "How rare for you to sleep in."
Natsuki looked relaxed. "Without any pressure, I can naturally take a rest."
"Did anyone ask for me?"
Orochimaru smiled. "Everyone is preparing a farewell gift for you."
"A farewell gift?"
Natsuki truly had not considered that.
"Is that necessary?"
A smug smile appeared on Orochimaru's face. "What if it is something you like best?"
"Oh? You know?"
Orochimaru let out a raspy laugh. "Of course I know."
Natsuki was intrigued.
"Then I certainly have to see it."
Orochimaru checked the time.
"It is about time."
Orochimaru picked up a phone from the table. "Have Minato come pick him up."
Then he hung up.
A moment later, Minato, dressed in formal attire, arrived using the Flying Thunder God.
"Natsuki, we were waiting for you. Let's head to the venue."
Natsuki looked Minato up and down. Seeing the outfit Minato wore, he asked in confusion,
"Don't tell me you're holding Boruto and Hikari's engagement ceremony?"
Minato laughed heartily. "You'll find out when you get to the venue."
Natsuki did not ask further.
"Let's go."
Minato took Orochimaru and Natsuki to the venue with a single Flying Thunder God.
After space shifted,
lively ceremonial cannon fire rang out beside them.
The venue had lights, balloons, streamers, and flowers—everything one could need.
Natsuki focused his gaze and saw five couples standing
