"Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan ability allows him to connect to a Kamui Dimension."

"Once he activates Hollowfication, any part of his body that is attacked enters the Kamui Dimension, allowing him to evade the attack."

"It is fully automatic. Once activated, it is not controlled by his consciousness and can only be turned off by himself."

"His automatic Hollowfication has a time limit. You can wear down that time through sustained attacks, but he can simply activate Susanoo and escape."
