Lynn accepted the mission.

The Communication Slate immediately vibrated, and a message popped up:

"You have accepted the 'X-882 Small World Investigation' mission. Mission overseer: Bone Spire War Affairs Department. Notes: This world has no direct teleportation array. You must cross the void yourself. Please transfer through World X-779. Coordinates have been issued. Good luck."

Lynn stood and began packing.

He stored all his main undead forces in the Phase Soul Lamp and Undead Space.

He checked his potions, materials, and spare Wizard Artifacts once over.

Half an hourglass later, he pushed open the laboratory door and headed for the teleportation area.

When the teleportation array's glow faded, Lynn was already standing in another world.

The air was far more stifling than at Bone Spire, carrying a faint scent of sulfur.

The sky was grayish yellow, with no sun in sight, only a thick layer of clouds.

Mountains rose in the distance, their slopes dark red—the color of volcanic rock.

The teleportation hall was even more rudimentary than the one in North Nether City. It was merely a shed built from stones, without even any walls.

An apprentice in short sleeves sat beside the control console, fanning himself and muttering under his breath.

When he saw the teleportation array light up, the apprentice hurriedly rose and ran over to salute.

"My lord! Welcome to X-779! Are you transferring onward or stopping to rest?"

Lynn stepped out of the teleportation array. "Transferring. To X-882."

The apprentice froze for a moment, then scratched his head. "X-882? The newly discovered one? My lord, are you going there to investigate?"

Lynn said nothing.

Realizing he had asked too much, the apprentice quickly shut his mouth, turned, and ran to the console, pulling up a void star map.

Several points of light were marked
