When the light of the teleportation array faded, Lynn was already standing on an unfamiliar platform.

This was the nearest outpost to the Plague World, a small demiplane conquered by the Wizard World. After being fully developed, only a teleportation array and several dilapidated stone houses remained.

The apprentice on duty was wrapped in a thick robe, curled up in a corner and dozing.

Hearing the movement, he suddenly looked up. When he saw Lynn's wizard robe, he hurriedly rose to his feet and bowed excitedly.

"My lord, welcome to Small World M-78. How may I be of service?"

The apprentice could not help being excited. This place was considered a remote region; aside from transporting supplies, the teleportation array rarely saw anyone, much less a Formal Wizard.

Lynn was somewhat surprised by the apprentice's enthusiasm and asked about the Plague World.

The apprentice knew his own M-78 inside out, but what the hell was this Plague World? A newly conquered world of the academy?

Seeing the blank look on his face, Lynn knew he would not get anything useful from him. He said no more and walked straight out of the stone house to the edge of the platform.

Outside lay the void, endless darkness, with several stars flickering in the distance.

He raised a hand, and the Bone Dragon flew out of thin air, landing before him.

Its blue-gray skeleton glimmered with a cold, ghostly light in the void, while Soul Fire danced in its eye sockets.

Lynn mounted it in one fluid motion. The Bone Dragon spread its wings and flew toward the depths of the void.

There was no wind or sound in the void, only endless silence.

With every beat of its wings, the Bone Dragon gained another burst of speed, growing faster and faster
