Seeing that Myriad Phenomena could not absorb the energy within the realization, the Plague God was greatly relieved and began manipulating the plague to erode Myriad Phenomena.
Myriad Phenomena's body began to rot.
Pustules rose across its skin, its flesh began to dissolve, and its bones started to become brittle.
It stood there without moving, allowing its body to decay.
It felt no pain and knew no fear. It merely carried out orders. Lynn had ordered it to fight the Plague God, so it would fight.
The Plague God laughed even harder.
"So you can rot too! So you can't absorb everything after all! My domain is my will! You're just a puppet—what makes you worthy of absorbing my will?!"
As the Plague God spoke and laughed, more than half of Myriad Phenomena's body had already rotted away.
All the flesh on its left arm was gone, leaving only bone. The bone in its right leg began to blacken and snapped at the joint.
Its torso was covered in pustules. Some had already rotted through, exposing the organs inside—if it even had organs.
Lynn stood atop the mountain, watching Myriad Phenomena within the domain.
He did not intervene directly. Instead, he was analyzing the domain.
All one hundred workstations were running at full capacity, breaking down the domain's structure, energy flow, and framework of rules.
The Plague God's domain was powerful, but its structure was crude. It was sustained entirely by immense energy. As long as he found the node, a single strike could shatter it.
"Found it," Lynn said quietly.
He raised his right hand and made a gesture toward the sky.
The Demon Eye moved.
It emerged from the clouds, its enormous eyeball slowly turning as its pupil locked onto the Plague God's domain.
