Lynn lowered his head to look at Leon kneeling on the ground, then raised his right hand. A deep blue glow lit up at his fingertips.

They were sealing sorcery runes. One after another, they floated from his fingertips and landed on Leon.

The first rune fell on Leon's chest like a red-hot branding iron pressed against his skin, hissing as it burned.

Leon's body jolted violently, but he offered no resistance.

His consciousness was still on the verge of collapse. He had no idea what was happening at all.

The second rune landed between his brows. Golden light spilled from his eyes like water being squeezed out.

The third landed on his dantian, forcibly suppressing the divine powers still rampaging through his body like snakes stuffed into a box.

Sophia let out a cry and rushed over from afar. She dropped to her knees beside Leon and reached out to touch his face.

Leon's eyes were open, but his pupils were unfocused. He could see nothing. His lips moved, but no sound came out.

Sophia's tears fell onto his face and trickled down his cheeks.

"Leon... Leon, say something... Look at me..." Sophia's voice trembled.

Leon did not react in the slightest.

Sophia raised her head and looked at Lynn.

"Please... let him go...
