The laboratory door closed. Lynn stood in the center of the room and looked around. Everything was much the same as when he had left.
He activated the Soul Furnace and set it running in a corner. Golden light shone through the crystal furnace walls and cast itself across the walls.
He stuffed the Dragon Soul and the second primary soul into the furnace to settle, then released those low-level souls from the Phase Soul Lamp.
A million dim gray motes poured out of the Soul Lamp, crowding the furnace chamber like a swarm of trapped fireflies.
Sensing those souls, the Dragon Soul's primary soul opened its eyes, opened its mouth, and swallowed them one mouthful at a time.

The quality of those low-level souls was too poor. No matter how numerous they were, they could only serve as snacks and could not break through its shackles.
Lynn then sealed the souls and corpses of those professionals together one by one before tossing them into a corner of the Undead Space, allowing the undead power inside to slowly catalyze them.
After some time, those corpses would transform into undead on their own. He would not need to worry about them.
After handling these trifling matters, Lynn contacted Harold, then left the laboratory and headed for the Ghost Market.
Harold's shop was still the same as ever: dim lighting, shelves piled with half-finished products, and air thick with the mingled smells of machine oil and preservatives.
Harold practically treated the shop as his home. At that moment,
