An unknown amount of time passed.
The corpses of those wild goblins suddenly twitched.
The leader who had fallen first opened its eyes. There were no eyeballs in its sockets, only two clusters of ghostly green flames.
It rose to its feet stiffly, its bones clicking and clacking.
It lowered its head to look at its stark white hand bones, clenched its exceptionally thick right arm into a fist, then raised its head and looked toward the center of the island.
There was a volcanic crater there, with a lamp suspended above it.
The lamp glowed with a ghostly blue light, like a giant eye looking down over the entire island.
The leader spread its legs and walked toward the center of the island. Its foot bones stepped into the sand, leaving shallow marks behind.
The wild goblins behind it also rose one after another, following behind it in a line toward the center of the island.
More than a dozen skeletons, bone-white and stark, stood out sharply against the gray-black wasteland.
Lynn stood at the edge of the volcanic crater, watching the skeletons formed from those wild goblins walk toward him.
These skeletons were weak, barely reaching lv1—not even as strong as apprentices—but as long as they remained on this island, they would continue growing stronger.
On this island, Death Power would continually transform living creatures into undead, and undead into soldiers.
He did not need to refine them himself. He only needed to throw the materials onto this island and wait.
As Death Power continued to spread, it might eventually reach the surrounding waters. By then, some creatures in the ocean would be affected.
Zombie fish, wraith fish, skeletal fish—all of them would appear. Perhaps "contamination," "mutation," and "undead" would even give rise to some unusual sea-monster-type undead.
