Elsewhere, Lynn stood on the academy's teleportation array, preparing to deploy spaceships to various "borders."
The starry skies explored by the Wizards were vast, which meant the Wizard World's actual sphere of control was equally extensive.
If Lynn wanted to reach the borders, he would need to make multiple teleportation transfers. The magic stones consumed by teleportation alone would cost a considerable sum.
Lynn first went to the Northern Territory boundary teleportation point explored by the academy.
There was a barren planet there, with no atmosphere, no water, and no life. Naturally, it held little value beyond serving as a "teleportation platform."
The teleportation array was located atop a stone platform surrounded by black gravel. No Wizard apprentices were stationed there.
The borderlands were sparsely populated and held few resources. Teleportation was only used once in a great while, so no apprentices had been assigned to guard the place long-term.
If someone needed to teleport, they could either go to a planet guarded by apprentices, send out a signal using the communication frequency on the stone platform and have a nearby apprentice or Wizard come operate it, or operate it themselves...
This was not difficult for Lynn. If the cost were not so high and maintenance unnecessary, he would have liked to build a few "ultra-long-range teleportation arrays" himself. He might even have made a little money from them.
Lynn issued an "oracle" to the hundred captains standing by in the Wizard World base, his voice echoing in their minds.
"Your mission is to explore unknown worlds, locate new worlds, and report their coordinates. Do not enter any new world without authorization. Do not make contact with the natives. Once you have reported in, await my orders."
Feeling the divine might in their minds, the captains hurriedly answered in unison.
