The Chaos Dragon was much faster than the Demon Eye. The journey here had taken five days riding the Demon Eye, but the return trip took only three.

On the third day, the teleportation planet appeared in sight.

The gray-blue planet floated alone in the void, like a marble casually tossed onto a table.

There were no buildings here, nor was there any sign of life. If not for the beacon, it would probably have been overlooked entirely.

Lynn jumped from the dragon's back and landed on the stone platform of the teleportation array.

He took magic stones from his ring and set them into the grooves of the teleportation array.

The runes lit up, and white light rose beneath his feet, swallowing his body.

Lynn vanished.

In the final second before disappearing, he seemed to see a streak of light cut through the void in the distance, like a meteor flying toward him.

That meteor was Black Star.

It was fast, but it arrived half a step too late.

By the time it reached the place where the Source Realm had once been, it was already empty.

The deputy leader flew out of Black Star with the scouts. They spread through the void, searched the area, then flew back.

They found nothing.

No spatial-temporal turbulence, no world fragments, no Chaos Dragon, no Black Fang, no Bat Demon.

The deputy leader returned to the interior of Black Star and entered the top floor of the tower.

Wutian was still standing before the star map. The red dot representing the Source Realm had gone dark.

"Chief, the Source Realm is gone. The surrounding spatial-temporal turbulence vanished with it. We searched the area, but found no clues."

Wutian turned around, descended the tower, and walked out of Black Star.
