The stones were the same as the black stones used to store knowledge in the Bone Vault, their surfaces carved with extremely fine runes.
"These are for you." Belloc handed the book and black stones to the girl.
"The book contains a Soul Department meditation method. It's much better than the Basic Meditation Method inscribed on the Academy Nameplate."
"The black stones contain several soul-type spells suited to you. Once you cultivate Mental Power, you can send it into them and read their contents."
The girl hurriedly reached out to accept them, holding them in her arms with some difficulty.
Belloc took out an apprentice-grade Wizard Artifact shaped like a shield and placed it in her hand.
"This is a defensive Wizard Artifact. Once activated, it can block several apprentice-level attacks. You've only just begun, so keep it on you for protection."
The girl looked down at the things in her arms, feeling both flustered and warm.
She did not know how much these things were worth, but judging by the expressions of the apprentices nearby, this was definitely not treatment an ordinary newcomer should receive.

The apprentices were already dumbfounded.
They had followed Belloc for so long, yet even getting a meditation method required exchanging Magic Stones or Contribution Points.
