At noon the next day, Lynn went to see Mira again.
Mira lived in the east wing of the rear courtyard, and her room smelled strongly of herbs.
She was sitting by the window, grinding herbs. When Lynn came in, she smiled. "Lord Lynn, here to buy potions?"
Clearly, quite a few people had come to her for potions over the past two days.
After all, they were a necessity. Training with potions was much faster than training without them; it just cost a lot of money.
"I'd like to buy some potions that increase mental power, suitable for a peak Third-Class Apprentice. Preferably something potent."
Mira put down her pestle and took two crystal bottles from a cabinet. The bottles were small and held a pale blue liquid.
She handed one to Lynn. "Have a sniff."
Lynn took it, unscrewed the cap, and brought it close to his nose.
A cool herbal scent traveled up his nasal passages. The spot between his brows throbbed faintly, and even his mental power stirred.
It was only a trace, but there was definitely a change.
From the look of it, this potion was indeed effective. It should provide a substantial boost to a Third-Class Apprentice.
"This is brewed from ice-soul grass and stardust leaf. It's ideal for a peak Third-Class Apprentice, with very few side effects, and you're unlikely to develop a tolerance."
Hearing that, Lynn stopped hesitating and asked directly, "How much do you have?"
"A lot of people want this stuff. These two bottles are all I have left," Mira said.
"If you want more, I can brew another batch, but I'm running low on stardust leaf. I can probably only make two more bottles."
