The fifth dream belonged to Tang Hao.
Tang Hao dreamed that he stood before the gates of Spirit Hall, the Clear Sky Hammer in his hand. Nine Soul Rings pulsed around him, the red hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring radiating a piercing, bloody light.
He slaughtered his way inside, smashing the gates of Spirit Hall, the statues enshrined there, and everyone who stood in his path with the Clear Sky Hammer.
Bloodlust consumed him. His hammer whipped through the air, sending flesh and blood flying with every blow.
He charged into the Pope Hall and kicked over the throne that symbolized Spirit Hall's supreme authority. Raising the Clear Sky Hammer high, he brought it crashing down.
With a thunderous crash, a massive hole burst through the Pope Hall's dome, and all of Spirit Hall collapsed before him.
He stood atop the ruins, planted the Clear Sky Hammer on the ground, and threw back his head in laughter.
"Hahahaha! Spirit Hall! I've finally destroyed you!"
But before his laughter faded, the ground beneath his feet suddenly split open.
The crack grew larger and wider, as though the earth had opened a gaping, bloody maw.
The ground gave way beneath Tang Hao, and he plunged straight down.
Wind howled past his ears. He struggled desperately, but it was no use.
He fell for a long, long time, so long that he thought he would never reach the bottom.
At last, he slammed onto a patch of scorching ground.
The heat made him leap up, smoke rising from the soles of his shoes.
He looked up. Everything around him was crimson. The sky was dark red, the ground charred black, and lava and flames were everywhere.
In the distance stood an enormous gate, with three bloody characters inscribed on its tower—Ghost Gate.
