In the original story, Sky Dream Ice Silkworm had been able to seal his own Soul Ring and help Huo Yuhao absorb it.

Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue, two deities, were countless times stronger than Sky Dream Ice Silkworm. If that fat silkworm could do it, then naturally they could as well.
