An incomparably ancient emerald divine tree faintly appeared and disappeared along with his breathing. Its branches and leaves were luxuriant, brimming with life. Rich life energy lingered around Gu Shengge, nourishing the surrounding Bluesilver Grass and making it grow considerably taller.

The breathing technique Gu Shengge was currently cultivating was called the Life Ancient Tree Breathing Technique, and it had been taught to him by Green Banyan.

As its name suggested, this technique simulated the breathing of the Life Ancient Tree, absorbing the scattered energy between heaven and earth and transforming it into Soul Power to strengthen the body.

Because it was modeled after the Life Ancient Tree, Soul Masters who cultivated this breathing technique would possess vitality far beyond that of ordinary Soul Masters. After lunch, Green Banyan told Gu Shengge to stay home and not run around while she went into town to buy some things.

More than two thousand kilometers away from Eastsea City lay a large Soul Beast forest. Though its scale could not compare to the Star Dou Great Forest, it was still one of the foremost gathering places for high-level Soul Beasts on the Douluo Continent. Most of the Soul Beasts within possessed light attributes, so the forest was also known as Holy Light Forest.

Above Holy Light Forest, a green figure appeared. It was Green Banyan.

Green Banyan looked down at the incomparably lush sea of trees below, where countless Soul Beasts lived in thriving abundance, overflowing with the aura of life.

Her divine sense swept across Holy Light Forest, searching for a Soul Beast suitable for Gu Shengge. As the Creator God's son, Green Banyan would never allow her younger brother to absorb the Soul Ring of an ordinary Soul Beast. It had to be the strongest Soul Beast most suited to him.

Before long, Green Banyan discovered a light-attributed Soul Beast hidden in the depths of Holy Light Forest. Her green figure fluttered away, vanishing from where she stood.

Deep within Holy Light Forest, inside a cave on a towering, majestic mountain, light energy was incredibly dense. An enormous earth dragon king slumbered in the cave, its aura deep and powerful. It was clearly a hundred-thousand-year Golden Earth Dragon King.

Golden Earth Dragons possessed a faint trace of pure Bright Dragon Clan bloodline, and the Bright Dragon Clan bloodline within a Golden Earth Dragon King that had reached a hundred thousand years had reached its peak.

A green figure appeared before the Golden Earth Dragon King. The earth dragon king had not noticed Green Banyan's arrival and remained asleep.

Green Banyan called gently, "Awaken, Earth Dragon King."

Upon hearing her voice, the Golden Earth Dragon King slowly opened its enormous draconic eyes. Looking at the tiny human before it, it nevertheless sensed from her an immense aura far beyond its own, as though she could crush it with a single finger. Not even the Beast God Di Tian had ever made it feel this way, and the Golden Earth Dragon King was terrified.

Seeing that the Earth Dragon King had awakened, Green Banyan wasted no words. She raised her jade-like hand, and a streak of pale green light shot from her fingertip into its brow, informing it of the purpose of her visit.

After receiving the information, the Golden Earth Dragon King's dragon eyes widened, revealing human-like disbelief. It hurriedly lowered its head, its voice deep and respectful.

"Honored Goddess of Life, this one is willing to offer everything to you."
