On the bridge, Guilliman was intently reviewing the latest tactical simulations for the X Galaxy, complex star maps and troop deployments reflected in his cold blue eyes.
Just then, Obi-Wan Kenobi beside him suddenly paused, and a flash of heartfelt joy appeared on his gentle face.
He said to Guilliman, "Robert, my friends have arrived."
Guilliman looked up from the star map, somewhat curious. "Friends?"
"Yes, reinforcements from the Hilling Empire." Obi-Wan nodded and turned toward a relatively open deck within the ship, used for moving large equipment.
After a moment's thought, Guilliman took heavy strides after Obi-Wan.
He was gradually getting used to his allies' elusive methods of communication and teleportation.
The empty deck held nothing but cold metal flooring and indicator lights blinking along the walls.
Obi-Wan came to a stop, the Force flowing serenely around him.
A moment later, the air before him began to distort slightly with a faint hum, and space rippled like water.
Guilliman watched intently.
Two figures emerged steadily from the rippling spatial distortion, dressed in Jedi robes similar to Obi-Wan's, predominantly brown in color.
One was male and the other female. The man possessed a composed bearing, resolute features, and wisdom tempered by the years. The woman was far younger, her lively eyes brimming with vigorous energy.
"Master Obi-Wan!" the young female Jedi cried out first, her voice bright with delight.
"Master!" The composed male Jedi bowed in a standard Jedi salute to Obi-Wan, his expression filled with deep respect and joy at their reunion.
"Kai! Ella!" A warm smile bloomed across Obi-Wan's face as he stepped forward and embraced them both. "It is wonderful to see you
