Dabura: Supreme Kai, Meet Your End!

Just as Son Goku had predicted.

When Vegeta saw Dabura spit at him, the corner of his mouth immediately curled upward.

As Dabura's only possible way to turn the tables, how could Vegeta possibly fail to guard against it?

"I'm curious. If your saliva gets on you, will it turn you to stone too?" Vegeta said with a cold sneer.

The next second.

Vegeta's aura tightened as he raised his hand and fired a burst of energy. The energy wrapped around the incoming glob of spit and slapped it onto Dabura's face!

"D... Damn it!"

Dabura wiped the spit off his face and glared furiously at Vegeta!

The next second, signs of petrification rapidly appeared on Dabura's face and hands!

"Ah! Dabura's body... is turning to stone!" Son Gohan cried out in surprise.

Son Goku asked curiously, "It came out of his own mouth, so why would it petrify him too? Shouldn't he have been turned to stone by his own saliva long ago?"

Shin explained, "What truly petrifies people isn't Dabura's saliva itself, but the magic contained within it."

"Before spitting, Dabura uses his saliva as a medium to conceal petrification magic within it. Once a living being is touched by the saliva, the petrification magic hidden inside immediately erupts and turns them to stone."

"It isn't limited to saliva. In theory, even Dabura's blood can serve as a medium for petrification."

"Is that so? Then we need to warn Vegeta right away!" Son Goku looked up, only to see that Dabura was nearly completely petrified.

Seeing this.

Son Goku scratched his head and muttered, "Looks like there's no need for that anymore."

As soon as he finished speaking.

Dabura in the air had already been completely petrified and fell from the sky.

Seeing this.

Son Goku mumbled, "Is he dead just like that? Killed by his own trick."

Shin explained, "No, not yet. Dabura is only playing dead. If you approach him now, he may very well kill you in a counterattack."

"What? He's playing dead? What a despicable guy! We have to warn Uncle Vegeta right away!" Son Gohan said urgently.

"Take it easy, Gohan. Vegeta isn't the kind of person who lets his guard down. Just watch, and learn a thing or two from Vegeta while you're at it," Son Goku reminded him.

"Huh?" Son Gohan looked confused, then raised his head toward Vegeta hovering in the air.

Vegeta looked down at Dabura, now a stone statue below him. The corner of his mouth rose as he muttered, "Did you destroy yourself? Fine. Real or fake, I'll lend you a hand and set you free for good!"

Vegeta raised his hand and aimed his palm at the petrified Dabura below. His expression hardened as all his energy gathered in his palm...

"Big Bang Attack!"

Vegeta grinned as the massive energy gathered in his palm suddenly erupted and crashed down toward Dabura, who had become a stone statue!

Inside the statue, Dabura sensed the immense energy descending from above. He cursed under his breath, hurriedly dispelled the petrification magic, and barely dodged Vegeta's attack at the last possible instant!

Boom!!

The ground trembled, and a crater no smaller than the one Dabura had blasted earlier appeared on the surface.

Seeing this.

Vegeta gave a teasing smile and muttered, "Oh, so you were playing dead just now? Interesting. I didn't expect you to have at least a little brains."

Dabura flew back into the air and hovered opposite Vegeta, his expression ugly.

With a mocking look on his face, Vegeta taunted, "What's wrong? Is that all the mighty King of the Demon Realm can do? I heard you were the strongest in the Demon Realm, but looking at you now, your Demon Realm isn't much after all."

"Damn it!"

Dabura clenched his fists and roared with a twisted expression, "I'll tear you to pieces!!"

Unmoved, Vegeta raised a hand and crooked a finger at him in blatant provocation.

Below.

Son Goku shouted a warning, "Vegeta! That guy's petrification ability doesn't only work through saliva! Supreme Kai said that even his blood can petrify people, so don't let it touch you!"

"What?!" Vegeta was startled, but then the corner of his mouth curled up as he looked disdainfully at Dabura. "I see. So this is the trump card you've been hiding? It's nothing special. Just cheap tricks."

Cold sweat appeared on Dabura's forehead. His trump card had been exposed. He had originally planned to use it to catch the man opposite him off guard and kill him, but that was clearly no longer possible!

Back in the Demon Realm, he had used this move to deal with many powerful enemies. By all rights, anyone who knew about this trump card should already be dead. How did those people below know about it?

Dabura glared viciously at the three below, his gaze settling on Shin, the only one whose identity he did not know...

So that's the Supreme Kai? The greatest god in the universe!

From what Lord Babidi had said, he was not very strong. The pink fellow I killed outside earlier must have been his servant.

If he were truly powerful, he wouldn't have stood by and watched his servant get killed by me...

With that thought, a plan formed in Dabura's heart. The corner of his mouth lifted slightly, and confidence returned to his eyes.

"What is it? Too scared to attack? If that's the case, then I'll make the first move!" Vegeta's aura slowly rose, and killing intent flashed through his eyes.

Dabura showed no panic whatsoever. He gave a low chuckle. "Earthling, I'll soon let you know what the King of the Demon Realm is!"

Dabura raised his hand, gathering energy in his palm before throwing an energy blast at Vegeta.

Anger flashed in Vegeta's eyes as he slapped the incoming energy blast away...

Buzz~

The purple energy blast struck the ground and erupted with terrifying power, blasting another massive crater into the earth!

Although the energy blast had been incredibly powerful, in Vegeta's eyes, it was about as threatening as a balloon hitting an ordinary person. This wasn't an attack—it was an insult!

"You bastard..." Just as Vegeta was about to strike in fury, he discovered in astonishment that Dabura had vanished from across from him...

"Where did he go?" Vegeta's gaze swept continuously around him before quickly catching sight of Dabura... He was flying downward!

"Are you trying to run, Dabura?" Vegeta had only just pursued him when he abruptly stopped. Looking at Dabura charging straight toward Supreme Kai, an absurd thought rose in his mind...

That guy isn't planning to...!

Even Vegeta was dumbfounded. Was Dabura... really that brave?

Son Goku watched Dabura charge toward them, excitement appearing on his face. "Is he giving up on Vegeta and coming to challenge me instead? I accept your challenge. Come on!"

Just as Son Goku took up a fighting stance and prepared to face Dabura, Dabura ignored him completely and charged straight at Supreme Kai!

Seeing this.

Son Gohan's face changed drastically as he cried out, "Oh no! Supreme Kai is his target!"

"Ha ha ha! Supreme Kai, meet your end!" Dabura laughed wildly as energy gathered throughout his body. He was preparing to seize Supreme Kai and use him to threaten Son Goku and the others!
