"Then what is your ultimate goal?"

"That is another question."

"What do we do next?" Orochimaru asked.

"Money!" Uchiha Huan said. "Building a village requires money. Go to the Land of Waves and find a gangster merchant named Gato. Gato controls the entire waterborne trade of the Land of Waves. Seize Gato's business, along with his wealth."

"Us? Then what about you?"

"I'm going to do something more meaningful," Uchiha Huan said.

With their current team, they could not defeat the Akatsuki Organization, nor could they defeat the Five Great Nations. Though every one of them was talented, they lacked top-tier combat power and a deep foundation. They could accomplish nothing. It would be better to improve their own strength.

Once his strength was sufficient, he could do whatever he wanted.

"Lord First Hokage, I want something."

"What?"

"A ninjutsu from the Book of Sealing."

"Bring me Gato's assets and power first, then I'll give it to you."

Uchiha Huan knew that Orochimaru definitely wanted the Impure World Reincarnation.

The Wood Human raised its enormous palm and grabbed toward the shadows.

The Soul Beast in the darkness abruptly transformed into a violet-black streak of light. It leaped aside in an instant, evading the Wood Human's giant palm, then sprang onto its arm. Climbing continuously upward, it reached Uchiha Huan in less than a second.

It had the body of a massive tiger and wings on its back. Its tail seemed to be pieced together from segments of bone, with a scorpion-like tip. A pair of outward-curving fangs protruded from its mouth like two sharp blades, while violet-black energy continuously swirled around its body.

Dark Demon Evil God Tiger! Uchiha Huan's pupils suddenly contracted.

This was also the Soul Beast that had brought Tang San closest to death in the original story, nearly sending Douluo I straight into its finale.

Only one Dark Demon Evil God Tiger existed in each generation, so this was undoubtedly the one Tang San would face in the future.

Darkness, space, time, spiritual power, lightning, speed! Those were the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger's attributes.

Uchiha Huan moved, taking the initiative to meet the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger head-on.

After circling once in the sky, it dived down at Uchiha Huan again.

But what greeted it were roots suddenly extending from the Wood Human, forming a vast net that enveloped the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger.

The Dark Demon Evil God Tiger darted left and right through the air, finally avoiding every attack. It was just about to reach Uchiha Huan.

Watching the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger close in, Uchiha Huan drew a deep breath.

At last, it gave up attacking Uchiha Huan. Turning into a streak of black light, it vanished into the depths of the Star Dou Great Forest.

Uchiha Huan also breathed a sigh of relief. His current attack power was insufficient; he had only managed to fight the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger by relying on gimmicks.

If they had continued fighting, he would have had to run for his life too.

That was how gimmick monsters worked. Perhaps I can't win, but I won't die either.

Uchiha Huan was like that, and so was the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger.

By the time he walked out of the Star Dou Great Forest, five days had passed.

At the gates of Spirit City, Uchiha Huan was stopped by the guards again because of his tattered appearance. But once he displayed his Spirit Rings, he was immediately allowed through.

At his doorstep, Uchiha Huan saw Hu Liena, Yan, and Xie Yue standing outside.

"What are you doing here?" Uchiha Huan looked at the Golden Three Idiots before him, his face showing a trace of displeasure.

After traveling for so long, he only wanted a good rest. He had absolutely no desire to fight anyone.
