Eight Gates Formation: Gate of Death Opened, Uchiha Shadian Erased

Uchiha Shadian sneered as he tore the letter to shreds.

"Coming to hunt me down? Then I'll play with you."

"It saves me the trouble of going to find you, Guy."

In all of Konoha, Uchiha Shadian was only somewhat interested in Might Guy.

He had to experience the Eight Gates' Gate of Death for himself.

At the temporary tent headquarters in the Konoha Ruins.

After receiving the three elite jonin sent by the Hyuga Clan, Hiruzen Sarutobi immediately arranged for a team to hunt down Uchiha Shadian.

He dispatched Itachi Uchiha, Might Guy, Yugao Uzuki, Nakamura Nara, Kato Akimichi, Kagemura Yamanaka, and the three elite jonin sent by Hiashi Hyuga.

The eight of them formed two squads and set out in pursuit of Uchiha Shadian.

As soon as the eight-man group left Konoha, word reached Uchiha Shadian.

"Guy? And that Uchiha traitor."

"Sending so few people... do they think Guy is guaranteed to beat me?"

Uchiha Shadian gazed deeply at the sky.

Once Might Guy opened the Gate of Death of the Eight Gates, his strength would undergo a qualitative leap.

His chakra would surge wildly, rendering genjutsu useless against him.

His speed would also become incomparably fast. The fierce air cannons he could punch out of thin air, followed by a relentless barrage of suppression, would leave one completely unable to move. Unable to move meant unable to form hand seals, and thus unable to cast ninjutsu.

During that brief period, one could only passively endure the beating.

That was why Six Paths Madara Uchiha had half his body destroyed by Might Guy.

"Come, Guy. Let me test the power of your Gate of Death."

He had already secretly sent a letter instructing Hizashi Hyuga to have those three Hyuga jonin lead the way to Shukuba Town and search for him.

Whether he could defeat Might Guy or not, he had already prepared an escape route for himself.

"Rin, let's take a stroll through town."

"Okay, Brother Shadian." Rin Nohara's face was full of delight, her pretty cheeks flushed red, making her look especially adorable.

The streets of Shukuba Town were bustling with people. Konoha's destruction had not made the place desolate; instead, the many Konoha survivors who had fled here had made the town even livelier.

Uchiha Shadian made no effort to conceal his appearance, so Konoha's people quickly discovered him.

Before long, Might Guy and the others received intelligence that Uchiha Shadian had appeared in Shukuba Town.

"Shadian is in Shukuba Town. We'll head there immediately."

They were all jonin-level experts, and in less than twenty minutes, they reached a hill outside Shukuba Town.

"There are too many people in town. It would be inconvenient to fight Shadian there. Otherwise, all of Shukuba Town might be reduced to ruins like Konoha."

"I'll lure Uncle out. Senior Guy, you and the others can lie in ambush here."

Itachi Uchiha volunteered.

Might Guy nodded. "Then I'll leave it to you, Itachi."

Itachi Uchiha nodded and flashed toward the town.

He quickly entered the town.

Led by Konoha's hidden sentries, Itachi Uchiha soon spotted Uchiha Shadian strolling around with Rin Nohara.

Itachi Uchiha walked straight over.

"Uncle, let's leave town and fight to the death!"

Itachi Uchiha came before Uchiha Shadian and said directly.

"There are plenty of people lying in wait outside town, aren't there?" Uchiha Shadian looked coldly at Itachi Uchiha.

"Uncle, you're so powerful. Are you afraid?" Itachi Uchiha asked.

"You aren't qualified to make me afraid."

"I was going to kill you anyway. What harm is there in going with you?" Uchiha Shadian said coldly.

"Then let's go, Uncle."

Itachi Uchiha turned and left.

"Brother Shadian." Rin Nohara called out anxiously.

"Rin, stay here." Uchiha Shadian patted Rin Nohara's head.

"I want to face this together with Brother Shadian," Rin Nohara said firmly.

Seeing Rin Nohara's serious expression, Uchiha Shadian nodded. "Fine. Then we'll go together."

Before long, the three arrived on a small mountain far from Shukuba Town.

"Have your people come out," Uchiha Shadian said coldly to Itachi Uchiha.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!!

Seven figures flashed out from the forest, surrounding Uchiha Shadian and Rin Nohara.

"Shadian, I won't let you escape again this time." Might Guy stared at Uchiha Shadian coldly.

"Only eight people? It seems Hiruzen Sarutobi is afraid of having another nine thousand people burned to death." Uchiha Shadian calmly swept his gaze over them.

"Are you all coming at once, or one at a time?"

"I'll do it." Might Guy stepped forward. "Let me handle him. You won't need to intervene."

"Seems you're very confident, Guy." The corners of Uchiha Shadian's mouth lifted slightly.

"This time, I won't hesitate." Might Guy's expression was resolute.

"Rin, stay where you are. I don't want to drag you into this." Might Guy looked at Rin Nohara.

"I'll advance and retreat together with Brother Shadian," Rin Nohara said.

"Rin, go over there first. Once my battle with Guy begins, it won't be something you can withstand," Uchiha Shadian said.

"Then... Brother Shadian, you must be careful." Rin Nohara nodded and obediently retreated to the side.

"Itachi, you all move farther away as well," Might Guy said to Itachi Uchiha.

Itachi Uchiha nodded and silently stepped back.

Might Guy had been able to kill Izuna Uchiha; his combat power surpassed Itachi's.

After everyone had retreated a certain distance, Might Guy fixed a sharp gaze on Uchiha Shadian.

"Once I take you down, Konoha will be safe," Might Guy said.

"Hmph! Is that so? Let me tell you some good news. I've already spread word that Konoha suffered catastrophic losses."

"By now, countless spies from the major nations have likely slipped into the Land of Fire to investigate."

"Once they learn that Konoha suffered devastating losses—"

"They will surely wage war against the Land of Fire again."

Might Guy said in a heavy voice, "You... you've completely fallen, Shadian."

Uchiha Shadian sneered. "What right do you have to call me fallen?"

"Enough. Words are useless. Someone brainwashed by the village like you will never understand."

"Come, Guy. Stop wasting time. Let's continue the battle we didn't finish that day."

Uchiha Shadian pressed his hands together and directly activated Sage Mode.

Might Guy clenched his fists and began to unleash his chakra.

"For Konoha, for Kakashi, this time, I stake my life on it."

"Eight Gates Formation, First Gate, Gate of Opening, open!"

"Second Gate, Gate of Rest, open!"

"Third Gate, Gate of Life, open!"

"Fourth Gate, Gate of Pain, open!"

"Fifth Gate, Gate of Limit, open!"

"Sixth Gate, Gate of View, open!" Green vapor erupted.

"Seventh Gate, Gate of Wonder, open!" Blue vapor erupted.

Violent blue vapor poured from Might Guy's entire body.

It was not over yet.

Might Guy placed a hand over his chest, then unhesitatingly struck his acupoint. "Eighth Gate, Gate of Death, open."

Boom!

Fierce red vapor erupted like a hurricane.

Like a crimson beast, Might Guy locked his cold gaze on Uchiha Shadian and declared domineeringly, "Shadian, with the Eight Gates Formation that took me twenty years to master, I will completely erase your existence."
