Unsealing the Seal, the Nine-Tails Roars—Tremble, Konoha

Teased by Uchiha Shadian, Kushina Uzumaki did not get angry. She smiled and said, "Shadian, you still have the same personality as before."

Uchiha Shadian said solemnly, "I'm serious. Kushina, why don't you consider it?"

Minato Namikaze said with a face full of dark lines, "Consider my ass."

Kushina Uzumaki smiled. "Shadian, if you can really let Naruto and me meet again someday, what would be wrong with me remarrying you?"

"Kushina, you..." Minato Namikaze's eyes widened as he stared at Kushina Uzumaki in disbelief. Could it be that his Kushina no longer loved him? At that thought, bitterness flooded his heart. If he had not won Kushina's heart first, perhaps Uchiha Shadian would have successfully courted her.

Kushina Uzumaki saw Minato Namikaze's concern and said, "Minato, don't worry. I'm already dead too. If Shadian wants me to remarry him, he would have to revive me first. That's obviously impossible, so you don't need to worry."

Uchiha Shadian smiled. "Kushina, remember what you said. You won't be allowed to take it back later."

Kushina Uzumaki patted her chest and raised her little chin. "I absolutely won't."

Uchiha Shadian grinned as he looked at Minato Namikaze, whose face was as black as an African black pig's, and continued teasing him. "Minato, you heard her too. Kushina agreed to this willingly. From now on, Kushina belongs to me."

Minato Namikaze: My ass she does.

Minato Namikaze rolled his eyes at Uchiha Shadian. Though he knew Uchiha Shadian was joking, he still could not help feeling upset.

After all, Uchiha Shadian had truly pursued Kushina before. If Minato had not acted first and privately pledged themselves to each other, Kushina might have been swept away by Uchiha Shadian's relentless sweet talk.

After all, Uchiha Shadian was more handsome than him and knew how to charm girls. It would have been perfectly natural for Kushina to fall for him.

"Enough reminiscing. It's time to get down to business." Uchiha Shadian opened his scarlet Sharingan, and an imposing aura radiated from his body.

"Shadian, may I ask you something? Are you unsealing the Nine-Tails merely to help Naruto?" Minato Namikaze asked.

"No. I have another purpose," Uchiha Shadian said calmly.

"What purpose?" Minato Namikaze asked curiously.

Uchiha Shadian did not answer directly. "Before that, you should disperse your chakra into Naruto's body first. I can offer you a suggestion: set up a technique formula specifically to protect Naruto automatically. For example, I know of a mother who fused her chakra and will into sand. Whenever her child was attacked, the sand would automatically protect her child from all harm."

"A protection technique formula?" Minato Namikaze fell into thought.

"Leave this to Kushina. Your power is best suited for protection. I'll give all my chakra to you."

Minato Namikaze smiled gently, and his entire body slowly turned into blue motes of light that gradually merged into Kushina Uzumaki's body.

"Shadian, can you tell me now why you want to unseal the Nine-Tails?" Minato Namikaze asked.

Uchiha Shadian still did not answer immediately. Only after Minato Namikaze's figure had turned transparent did he speak. "Konoha's higher-ups ordered the massacre of the entire Uchiha Clan. I am the only Uchiha left. Of course I'm unsealing the Nine-Tails to destroy Konoha."

"What?" Minato Namikaze's face filled with disbelief. He wanted to say something, but it was already too late. His chakra had been completely exhausted and transferred to Kushina.

"Kushina, have you decided on a protection technique formula?" Uchiha Shadian asked calmly.

"Shadian, don't die. Please take Naruto and live well together." Kushina Uzumaki's gaze was complicated as she said, "I've decided. I'll imprint my sealing technique onto Naruto's body and protect him forever. Goodbye, Shadian. I'm glad to see you again. Please, you must survive."

As soon as she finished speaking, Kushina Uzumaki's body slowly turned into blue motes of light from the bottom up and merged into Naruto Uzumaki's body.

Kushina Uzumaki's attitude greatly pleased Uchiha Shadian. She had not stood on Konoha's side to condemn or persuade him. Instead, she hoped he would survive.

"Don't worry, Kushina. We'll meet again." Uchiha Shadian looked at the vanishing Kushina Uzumaki and spoke meaningfully.

Without Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze interfering, Uchiha Shadian's Heaven-Earth Yin-Yang Unsealing Technique quickly dismantled the Eight Trigrams Sealing Technique established by Minato Namikaze.

The scarlet Sharingan spun.

Roar!

A deafening roar echoed across the skies above all of Konoha.

Everyone who heard that roar shuddered. The terror of seven years ago once again hung over their heads.

Hiruzen Sarutobi's expression changed drastically. He said in stunned disbelief, "That roar... it's the Nine-Tails' voice. Has the Nine-Tails' seal been undone?"

"The Nine-Tails!" Kakashi Hatake sat atop Hokage Rock. Hearing the roar, his body jolted, and he looked up to see a colossal beast suddenly appear within the village, its bloodstained maw open as it roared toward the heavens. Familiar memories surged into his mind. Seven years ago, he had witnessed this scene as well. That time, Konoha had suffered devastating casualties, and even his teacher, Minato Namikaze, had died in that terrifying rampage. Kakashi Hatake's face paled in horror as he stood frozen in place. "Why did the Nine-Tails suddenly appear?"

Jiraiya, who was on his way to the Uchiha Clan, heard the roar and his expression abruptly changed. "That's the Nine-Tails' voice."

He hurriedly leaped onto a rooftop and immediately saw the colossal creature in western Konoha. "This is bad. It really is the Nine-Tails. Its seal has been undone."

Jiraiya stared at the Nine-Tails in horror. "Is this the Nine-Tails Minato sealed at the cost of his life? It really is a colossal monster!"

With the Nine-Tails appearing in Konoha, Jiraiya could no longer spare any thought for the Uchiha Clan. He turned around and rushed toward the Nine-Tails. "I have to seal the Nine-Tails first. I can't let it have another chance to destroy Konoha."

Jiraiya's expression was resolute. Wind seemed to gather beneath his feet as he continuously accelerated, leaping toward the Nine-Tails.

"That roar... is it the Nine-Tails?" Danzo Shimura's eyes revealed surprise.

A Root ninja swiftly leaped to the top of a tree and said in shock, "It's the Nine-Tails. The Nine-Tails has appeared in the western part of the village."

"Lord Danzo, should we go provide support?" a Root ninja asked.

Danzo Shimura narrowed his eyes, and a cold smile flickered across his gloomy face. "The Nine-Tails has always been under Hiruzen's supervision. If something has gone wrong, then it is his responsibility. Let him deal with it. Our foremost task is to eliminate the evil Uchiha Clan. We cannot allow a single evil Uchiha to escape."
