Harry was surprised to see that the boy had run off again.
Before leaving, he even remembered to answer him. "I'm going to wait for my brother. He might not know how to get in either!"
"Oh, all right. Looks like I'll have to find a seat by myself."
Harry sighed, dragging his luggage behind him until he finally found an empty compartment near the end of the train.
While he was putting away his luggage, two red-haired boys helped him.
But when the two boys learned that his name was Harry Potter, they were stunned.
Harry shook his head, somewhat relieved that he had not told that boy his name earlier.
He did not like people always staring at his scar, and he liked it even less when people heard his name and assumed he had saved the Wizarding World.
In truth, he had only been a child back then. He did not even know how he had done it.
Harry sighed and sat down by the window.
If he saw that boy come in with his brother, perhaps he could invite them to sit with him.
"Hello, is anyone sitting here?"
While he was waiting.
Another red-haired boy pushed open the door and pointed at the seat opposite him. "Is anyone sitting here?"
Harry shook his head.
He had seen this boy before. He was the younger brother of the two boys who had helped him earlier.
His name seemed to be Ron.
His family had been discussing Harry's name just now, and the two boys had even pointed toward his compartment, scaring him into quickly turning his head away.
Ron clearly knew his name. Pretending not to care, he glanced over Harry's forehead scar before turning to look out the window.
Harry noticed that there was a bit of dirt on Ron's nose.
And although he and that boy from before both had fiery red hair, he was clearly not as good-looking as that boy.
He was even less cute, clean, or naturally aristocratic-looking.
Harry sighed, wondering why he was thinking about that boy again.
He could only turn back to Ron.
He had just greeted his two older brothers.
He had heard they were called Weasley and George.
They were Twins. They really did look alike.
He wondered whether Darren would look exactly like him too.
That would be terrible.
Harry thought helplessly.
He was not handsome at all, and he was especially skinny. Dudley and his friends all called him a rat.
He hoped Darren would not grow up looking like this.
He shook his head.
His gaze settled outside the window again. Why had that boy still not come in?
The train was about to leave!
Harry anxiously wiped at the window glass, worried that the boy would miss the train.
Just as he could no longer resist going to look for him, he suddenly saw a girl drag the boy onto the train by force.
"Head Girl Becky, wait! I still have to wait for my brother..." The boy struggled twice and said anxiously.
But the girl cut him off.
"Are you out of your mind? A Muggle-born wizard still hasn't gotten on by this hour. Are you planning to go back to your Muggle world?"
P.S. I've finally written up to this part. Now I finally don't have to worry about you all saying I'm padding the story.
Chapter 39: Becky's Compartment
Harry knew what Muggle meant.
But what was Muggle-born?
"A Muggle-born is a wizard born to Muggles."
As Harry was wondering, Ron beside him awkwardly explained it to him.
Harry understood at once.
He heard the girl continue.
"Good grief, your family even came to Hogwarts together as a group.
All right, if he misses the train, you can tell the professors once you get to Hogwarts. They'll help you.
But if you miss the train too, neither of you will be able to go. Think about it, who would help you then?"
Harry thought the girl made a lot of sense.
Just as he was about to agree, he heard Ron say indignantly.
"Becky, I know who she is. I heard my brothers mention her. She's from Slytherin House and this year's Head Girl. Her reputation is terrible.
They all call her Hogwarts's Bully Flower. She's an extreme Pure-blood supremacist. She believes Muggle-born wizards and half-blood wizards should be driven out of Hogwarts.
But I don't know why she's with this Muggle-born wizard. Could she be plotting something?"
"Slytherin?"
This was the second time Harry had heard that name.
When he was in Diagon Alley, he had met a pale blond-haired boy who had said in an especially irritating tone that he was going to Slytherin.
"Slytherin is one of Hogwarts's houses. They say the Dark Lord graduated from there. That place produces nothing but bad wizards!"
"Voldemort? I mean, the Dark Lord you mentioned graduated from that house too?"
"Y-you actually said that name, the Dark Lord's name. You're amazing!"
"Why can't I..."
Harry became interested in talking and slowly started chatting with Ron.
Meanwhile, Darren, whom Becky had hauled onto the train, was sitting helplessly among a group of Slytherins.
"Becky, why did you bring this Muggle-born here?"
A boy with golden curls glared at Darren unhappily.
They were all Pure-blood aristocrats. Having a Muggle-born wizard sitting here with them felt terribly wrong.
"That's enough, Frank. Whoever I bring here is my business. If you don't like it, you can get out!"
Becky said coldly.
Her Cherry wood wand spun once in her hand, and everyone, including Frank, shut their mouths.
"Well... how about I get off first?"
Darren sighed and said considerately.
He still wanted to go out and find Harry!
To make a good impression on Harry, he had even gone out and put on that little performance earlier.
"Why are you going out? Malfoy is waiting outside! Do you want him to beat you up?"
Becky shot him a glance, thinking this guy was a little stupid.
He had offended the young master of the Malfoy family, all right?
What he had said in Diagon Alley had left Malfoy unable to defend himself and made him lose face. She had later heard that the elder Malfoy had even reprimanded him.
And under those circumstances, he still dared to wander around outside?
Malfoy had brought his two lackeys with him. Every one of them could take on two guys like this!
"Why would he beat me up?"
Darren tilted his head and asked "confusedly."
He seemed not to understand at all why Malfoy would want to beat him up.
He did not think he had done anything excessive, did he?
"You offended Malfoy. Do you think what happened last time ended just because you left?"
Becky stared at him in disbelief.
This little brat was far too innocent, wasn't he?
Then again, if he were not innocent, he would not have foolishly blocked a Killing Curse for her.
