Hermione mouthed to Harry.

Goblins!

Harry recalled the name Griphook. When he had first gone to Gringotts, it had been that goblin, Griphook, who had led him inside.

"So, you've been on the run for quite some time?"

A mellow male voice spoke.

Harry felt that voice sounded somewhat familiar.

Then he heard the goblins say:

"That's right. We've been running for six or seven weeks already. What about you, Ted? Why did you escape?"

"I'm Muggle-born... My wife is a Pure-blood. I don't think they would do anything to her."

Harry remembered.

This man named Ted should be Tonks's father.

Ted Tonks.

Ted continued, "I met Dean here a few days ago. Dean can't explain his own background either, right?"

"Yes. My dad should have been... but he ran off after I was born. I can't find him..."

Harry and the others recognized him.

This was their classmate, Dean Thomas.

"Then what about you? Why did you goblins run away?"

"I'm not a House-elf. I won't serve wizards! Now Gringotts has actually been placed under wizard control. That's impossible. I will never call a wizard my master!"

Griphook said furiously.

Ted and the others burst into loud laughter.

"Oh, right. Before I left, I got some news as well. You know Darren Potter, don't you?"

Griphook suddenly asked.

Harry and the others immediately sat up straight.

They had not expected to hear news of Darren here as well.

This might be the first time during their escape that they had learned anything specific about Darren.
