Giovanni had been standing with his back to the screen, but a familiar voice made him freeze. He immediately turned around.

In his office, Giovanni's first reaction upon seeing Roy's hologram was delighted surprise.
He was just about to greet Roy when he noticed Matori, Athena, and the other Team Rocket grunts beside him. His expression instantly turned serious.
He couldn't lose face in front of his subordinates, so he hurriedly coughed twice.
Matori took the hint and told Athena and Guzma to take the grunts and search the estate for anyone who might have escaped their net.
