"Dusclops, use Trick Room, then Ice Punch!"
Clair found Roy's command strangely familiar. Weren't those the moves Dusclops had used against her Dragonair aboard the S.S. Anne?
He was actually using the same tactics from a year ago against her Dragonite?
On the field, Dusclops had already set up Trick Room, instantly reversing his and Dragonite's speeds. Frost formed around his large, bandage-wrapped hand, and an Ice Punch slammed into Dragonite as he lay on the ground.
"ROOOAR!!!"
Dusclops's Ice Punch had practically struck Dragonite in a vital spot. Dragonite roared in pain, and a layer of frost formed over the belly where the punch had landed.
Seeing that Dragonite could still battle, Dusclops realized he could take far more punishment than he had a year ago, before evolving from Dragonair.
Of course, Dusclops wasn't finished yet. Frost formed around his left fist again while flames wrapped around his right, and he hammered both fists into Dragonite.
Dragonite had just gotten up to flee when he suddenly found his body growing heavy. Within Trick Room, his speed had been reversed.
The next second, Dusclops's fists slammed into Dragonite. His left fist hit hard, and his right hit just as hard as he pummeled Dragonite from both sides.
With ice in one fist and fire in the other, he beat Dragonite so relentlessly that Dragonite couldn't fight back at all.
"Dragonite, use Dragon Pulse!"
Clair was frantic at her command post. Her Dragonite certainly couldn't hold out if this continued, but she didn't want to lose!
Dragonite gathered a pulse of Dragon-type energy in his mouth and fired it at Dusclops.
At such close range, the orange-yellow energy pulse struck Dusclops directly. Yet Dusclops endured the Dragon Pulse and delivered one final Ice Punch, knocking Dragonite flat on the ground.
