The many Immortals nodded as though it were only natural. They used their own bodies to suppress the Great World Origin, planning an eternal future for heaven and earth and all living beings. Naturally, the Immortal Lord had the right to say such things.
They now saw things clearly as well. Keeping the Five-Elements Dao Ancestor in the Great World brought no benefit whatsoever; even the Human Race had completely abandoned him.
"The vision of beings from the Domains is ultimately limited." An Immortal frowned. "After becoming Immortal, one's Dao heart becomes even more unshakable. There is no turning it back, just like the First Fusion Immortal of old."
"Domain cultivators were selfish and self-serving by nature; this is acknowledged throughout the Great World." An elder Immortal spoke coldly. "Back then, I wished to take the lead in reclaiming Immortal power to suppress this man, but the Myriad Races were too forceful. We weighed the gains and losses, looked ahead and behind, and did not unleash the power to slay Immortals."
At those words, quite a few Immortals cast sidelong glances. It was true enough—this Immortal friend had been exceptionally radical back then, but his proposal had been rejected.
Now that the Myriad Races' Immortals of the Three Thousand Great Worlds had fallen, the endless quarrels of the past had instead vanished. Their actions had become remarkably decisive and swift, which was rather strange.
