Former Hegemony

At its height, the Eternal Divine Dynasty ruled the Heaven-Abandoned Land, conquered more than a hundred great worlds, and maintained expeditionary armies across the realms. Its power once extended into the Holy Spirit Realm, while the Eternal God Emperor was regarded as a dominant figure across the cosmic starry sky. 427 549 560

The Abyss invasion forced the dynasty to withdraw from many conquered worlds and severed contact with its expeditionary forces. Although greatly diminished, it retained control of several great worlds, including Profound Heaven Realm, and continued fighting wars beyond its borders. 427 541 549

Decay and Internal Betrayal

By the later Abyss war, the dynasty had become deeply compromised by internal corruption. The Counter-God Cult infiltrated its upper ranks; one of the three grand marshals was among the cult's leaders, and the Fifth Legion's betrayal led to Youzhou's fall. 480 517

The Judgment Court investigated the Fifth Legion, Night Watchers, and Sacred Flame Palace, but pressure from the Abyss forced the investigation to be curtailed. The Court continued covert surveillance of these departments. 530 532

Li Xuancang's Consolidation

Li Xuancang rose from Deputy Court Master to acting leader of the Judgment Court after Yan Fa entered seclusion, then briefly withdrew over the leadership's refusal to pursue a full investigation into internal traitors. 562 575 597

After the deaths of Lei Tianjue and Ling Yunxiao, Yan Fa appealed to Li Xuancang to return. Li accepted the position and was formally installed as Lord of the Judgment Court in a public succession ceremony, receiving the Judgment Sword and a pre-sealed decree from the Eternal God Emperor. 600 601

Following the capture of Counter-God Cult leader Ni Shenyuan, Li Xuancang's authority became effectively uncontested. He later abolished the Eternal Council, requiring every department, military mobilization, and major appointment to answer to the Judgment Court. 622 629

Regency and Relocation to the Origin Continent

Following years of escalating conflict with the Abyss and the Insect Race, the God Emperor formally appointed Li Xuancang as Regent, granting him supreme authority over all imperial affairs without requiring further approval. Concurrently, the God Emperor underwent a profound transformation, merging his divine soul to become the new Heavenly Dao of the Heaven-Abandoned Land 645 675 677.

As the wider Myriad Heavens and Ten Thousand Realms collapsed, the Eternal Divine Dynasty negotiated an entry into the Origin Continent, securing the Clear Origin Domain as a strategic foothold. Following the God Emperor's ascension, the entire Heaven-Abandoned Land was successfully navigated through the void to the Origin Continent, where the Divine Dynasty established a new Imperial Capital and commenced large-scale administrative reorganization and resettlement 665 680.

Government and Law

• Eternal God Emperor — Formal sovereign of the dynasty. After enduring millennia of torment suppressing the Abyssal Rift, he completed a transformation to become the new Heavenly Dao of the Heaven-Abandoned Land 626 637 677.
• Regent — Position held by Li Xuancang, granting him absolute command over the political, military, and administrative affairs of the dynasty 645.
• Judgment Court — The dynasty's supreme enforcement and intelligence institution. It commands the three great legions under standing imperial orders and became the center of state authority under Li Xuancang 549 551 629.
• Eternal Council — Former deliberative body of major officials and department heads; permanently abolished by Li Xuancang 593 629.
• Human Race entry restrictions — The dynasty historically barred nonhuman races from entering the Imperial Capital under the Judgment Codex, treating them as heretics after past betrayals 568.
