After walking out of the narrow passage, Leon found himself facing an enormous underground space.

It was two to three meters high, with slight undulations, and roughly as wide as a soccer field.

Looking around, he saw nothing but untouched natural terrain—puddles and stone pillars everywhere.

"Well, well! The Hand might not be good at much else, but they sure knew how to find a place. They actually found a natural cave this incredible."

To be fair, Leon thought this underground space was only missing a Batman playing on a computer.

At the wall on the far end of the underground cavern, farthest from the exit, several torches embedded in the wall illuminated the figures of five Hand members standing atop a stone platform.

"Leon, over there. Exactly five of them."

Since Leon had come out, Tony and the others naturally followed close behind. The moment he exited the passage, Tony noticed the group of five.

Couldn't be helped. That was the brightest spot in the entire underground space. Even a blind man could see it!

Stick: ...

Matt: ...

(I feel offended!!!)

"Mm. That should be them."

By the time Leon, hands in his pockets; Iron Man, hovering in the air; Matt, whose expression could not be seen; and Stick, who had no expression at all, reached a spot just below the altar, someone on the altar finally spoke.

"Where is Shin?"

Leon heard that it was a man speaking. He remembered that the Hand members who had been the most active and the strongest were not men, so he had no idea why a man had spoken first now.

And Shin?

Did I look like a mailman?

Was there a mailman who wore a mask?

A mailman clad in metal armor?

A mailman in a full red
