"Such powerful chakra."
Fugaku watched from afar, his expression grave. This matter had already exceeded what the Security Forces could handle.
Especially that explosion so easily controlled—it didn't look like an Earth Release explosive-style ninjutsu. Then what was it? Even the well-informed Uchiha Clan, who had won glorious achievements in the Ninja World War, could only shake their heads at one another.
"I don't recall a powerhouse like this serving under any ninja village."
To come to Konoha and cause trouble, challenging such a war machine—it was hard to imagine what kind of strength and confidence it took to dare do something so foolish.
It wasn't as though wandering ninja hadn't come to provoke Konoha throughout history, but the end result had always been those fools who brought it upon themselves hanging at Konoha's gates, their corpses left out in the open.
That miserable sight would probably leave you unable to eat for a month. Even if you did, you'd only throw it back up.
"What, are you all turtles hiding in your shells?"
The nuclear explosion boy roared, feeling like he had strength with nowhere to vent it. The frustration was unbearable.
But impatience was absolutely the greatest taboo in the ninja world.
"What an insolent brat."
In a calm voice, a strange old man covered in bandages and leaning on a cane appeared beside a large tree. His lifeless aura made him seem as though he'd crawled straight out of a coffin.
A group of Root Anbu elites also appeared nearby. They glanced in this direction, their eyes filled with wariness.
"Even this old man has been brought out. Looks like this commotion really isn't small."
Itachi appeared behind everyone at some point, startling them slightly. None of them had expected Itachi's speed and abilities to have grown to such a degree.
Even several high-ranking Security Forces officers broke out in cold sweat. If he'd been an enemy, they would probably already be separated from their heads.
Fugaku stood with his arms crossed, carrying himself with unfathomable poise. Everything seemed to be within his expectations, but concealing their edge, preserving their strength, and resolving this drawback was what needed to be done most.
After all, during the last Nine-Tails Rebellion, their Security Forces had been excluded from the matter. All sides had speculated whether the Uchiha Clan had controlled the Nine-Tails and launched a coup.
They had been suspected by every side from the very beginning of the incident.
In the end, they were merely targets of public criticism—the unwanted child whose father didn't care and whose mother didn't love.
"We can only wait and see. Perhaps we came at the wrong time. If we'd known, we should've waited until they were nearly done fighting before coming over to reap the benefits."
Fugaku Uchiha slowly let out a sigh.
They stood beneath the shadows of the trees. In a daze, dozens of crimson eyes slowly opened in the darkness, their tomoe spinning endlessly within those scarlet irises, each one heralding something sinister. It was as if they had rushed into a bat cave and been added to the hunting menu of a pack of bloodthirsty creatures.
Anyone watched by such eyes would likely feel a chill down their spine.
"Even the Uchiha Clan has been alarmed? This pressure is suffocating."
The blond young man gritted his teeth. As a powerhouse from another world who had transmigrated here, he naturally understood the weight carried by the Uchiha Clan.
Moreover, he'd caused quite a stir this time. He still hadn't fully adapted to this world's power. Even he had to be cautious of Konoha's Anbu and the clans with their various strange inheritances.
To a certain extent, it wasn't as though winning a one-on-one fight meant you could rest easy.
The Akatsuki, an organization of S-rank rogue ninja, generally operated in pairs whose abilities complemented each other. After all, most Akatsuki members had great confidence in their own strength, so arrogance was unavoidable. Yet that arrogance was also their greatest weakness. Their self-confidence could make them underestimate enemies or become too absorbed in battle, leading them into danger and death. When two people acted together, a companion's advice was the most effective way to overcome that arrogance.
He certainly didn't think his current strength was enough to take on a thousand alone.
"Grandpa isn't going to play with you sewer rats anymore. All you know is how to hide in the dark. There's no fun in that."
The blond youth spoke with disdain. The large golden chain hanging from his pant leg swayed against his black motorcycle jacket, making him look dashing and unruly. Facing these ninja who had all been scared out of their wits, he felt he'd already achieved the purpose of this trip.
Next, it would depend on which ninja village would take him in, currying favor with a major power so he could gain wealth and glory.
He wasn't like Deidara, one of those men who only knew that art was "explosion," causing destruction just for the sake of it. He had normal physical needs.
"You think it'll be that easy to leave?"
A group of Konoha ninja shouted, yet no one actually tried to stop him. Just witnessing his ninjutsu had filled them with fear. Those utterly unreasonable explosions radiated scorching heat directly from the young man at their center.
In an instant, they could melt their techniques and hidden weapon attacks into a puddle of molten iron.
Could this guy really be defeated?
"Sir, you should at least state your name. You took a stroll through Konoha and now intend to leave so directly. Aren't you looking down on Konoha a little too much?"
An aged voice drifted through the trees. Then, the white-robed Danzo emerged from three directions.
[Shimura Danzō] [Leader of "Root" in Konoha, Land of Fire] [The shadow in the darkness]
At that instant, it felt as though the entire forest's aura was revolving around this terrifying man.
"I don't have any name worth reporting. I'd advise you not to stop me, or I can't guarantee Konoha won't lose another expert."
The blond youth forced himself to calm down, doing his best to make his words sound threatening.
The only thing he needed to be wary of right now was genjutsu. Ordinary ninjutsu was utterly useless before his system.
"Judging by how you're dressed, you don't seem to be from this world, do you?"
Danzo narrowed his eyes, and his voice suddenly softened.
It seemed the intelligence was correct.
"Oh? You know about me too? This world is getting more and more interesting. I hope it can make me even more entertained."
The blond youth tilted his head, his tall, slender figure standing still. He could sense that ever since this man appeared, Root's ninja had seemingly taken over the defenses in the area and spread far out in all directions in a fan-shaped formation.
"I wonder how Konoha has offended you, sir."
"It hasn't really offended me in any way. What, if you're only going to talk this nonsense, then I'm not interested."
The blond youth wrinkled his nose slightly.
Could this be a delaying tactic?
