"Whew... Senjutsu power really does suit me better. That packs quite a punch." Uchiha Shunichi held a pitch-black Rasengan in his palm, surveying the destruction he had caused with some satisfaction.
After several experiments, Uchiha Shunichi had developed two types of Lightning Release Rasengan.
The first was the Lightning Release Split Sphere, mainly intended to sweep through large enemy forces and deal with enormous summoned beasts, Tailed Beasts, and the like. Its power was decent, but still fell within the bounds of conventional Ninjutsu.
Roughly... equivalent to several hundred Explosive Tags? It also allowed for a little control.
The second was the Annihilation Rasengan that Uchiha Shunichi now held. This Ninjutsu combined Lightning Release Chakra Nature Transformation and shape transformation, both pushed to their extremes. Its sole advantage was offensive power.
Its effects were roughly similar to Dust Release: it could directly erase any obstacle. Its attack range was limited, however, making it a single-target combat option.
Uchiha Shunichi had also produced quite a few other variants, such as the Big Ball Rasengan and ordinary lightning-infused Rasengan, but their power and effects left something to be desired.
So Uchiha Shunichi had abandoned those variants. He had no intention of including them in his regular combat repertoire.
"Shunichi, don't you think you went a little overboard?" Uchiha Sasuke had finished his mission and returned in high spirits, only to find a scene resembling a ruin as soon as he reached the training ground.
Although the Uchiha Clan's training ground had been abandoned, most of its facilities had remained intact. A little tidying would have restored it to its original state.
Now, however, it had truly been reduced to rubble...
"Finished your mission? What's that you've got?" Uchiha Shunichi had noticed Uchiha Sasuke approaching long ago; he simply hadn't acknowledged him.
