A week passed in the blink of an eye. Today was the day Orochimaru and Tsunade had agreed upon.
Last night, Tsunade drugged Jiraiya and knocked Shizune unconscious, yet she alone did not make a move against Uchiha Shunichi.
Uchiha Shunichi had originally intended to stop Tsunade, but in the end, he chose to let it go.
He was worried that if Orochimaru were driven away directly, Tsunade might very well change her mind as well.

"I thought you had come to stop my deal with Orochimaru." Whether there was disappointment or relief in Tsunade's words was impossible to tell.
"I know my own place. I won't betray the village, but it seems I have no right to decide the village's affairs. Besides, Lady Tsunade holds far more authority in the village than I do. Why would I stop you?" Uchiha Shunichi said.
