Ark Simulator, Don't I Lack a Physical Body?
"Hmm." Seeing the robot stop in front of her, Saria carefully used her strength to peel off the robot's outer shell, revealing little by little a cute Water Spirit with long green hair inside.
"Muelsyse? What's she doing here?" Saria was taken aback, clearly not expecting this.
"What else could it be? She was schemed against in a power struggle and then stuffed into a robot. I bet someone wanted her killed off like that."
After all, with Saria's strength, if she had really thrown a punch just now, she probably could have pierced through the robot with one blow.
When that time comes, Saria will be surprised to find that her fist is wet, and when she looks down, her hand is covered in blood. She will then wonder why the robot is bleeding.
Thinking of this, Su Rui couldn't help but smile. Fortunately, since Su Rui didn't have a physical form, no one could see her expression.
Saria reached out and checked Muelsyse's breathing:
"No problem, she's just been suffocated inside. A little fresh air and she'll wake up soon."
"That's good. Isn't the Water Spirit now like a gift sealed in a box with ribbons tied around it?"
Su Rui's voice rang out again, making the Doctor somewhat exasperated. "Alright, Su Rui, if you want to open a present, I can prepare one for you later."
"No, no need, I didn't say that."
Su Rui didn't know why he suddenly brought this up, and was about to ask him for details when she heard the Doctor say:
"Do you remember Mayer? You promised him a large laboratory on my behalf, right?"
"Uh, why are you suddenly bringing this up? So what happened?"
Su Rui was surprised that the Doctor still remembered this matter after so long.
"It's nothing. Although it was a bit troublesome, it's been resolved, and Mayer is very satisfied."
The Doctor continued, drawing out his words, "But Saria told me that someone could cause me trouble, promising things that would be difficult to do on Rhodes Island."
"I don't. Rhodes Island actually has plenty of internal space, it's just that you can't use much of it. The space inside is actually much larger than it appears from the outside."
Su Rui immediately retorted to the Doctor, feeling somewhat guilty, but this only made him seem more guilty.
Seeing that he had diverted Su Rui's attention, the Doctor did not continue to question Su Rui.
"Alright, let's continue. We'll have Muels come with us."
"Okay, let's hurry. If we go quickly, we can avoid the patrol team."
Su Rui quickly changed the subject; listening to the Doctor say those things, he felt a chill run down his spine.
What's going on? He doesn't even have a physical form yet.
Su Rui shook her head, banishing these thoughts from her mind, and then watched as Saria and the Doctor led Muelsyse toward the interior of Rhine Lab.
With Su Rui's guidance, the infiltration went very smoothly. However, Su Rui had a question that only lingered in Saria's mind:
"By the way Saria, how did you get back when I suddenly left last time?"
Su Rui was a little worried that Saria might be in danger because of his sudden absence.
"No." Saria shook her head, carefully choosing her words.
Volume 4, page 215: Tornadoes are single
'Although you suddenly lost contact, the route markers you left are still clearly visible in my field of vision, and we got back smoothly.'
Saria paused, then looked away somewhat embarrassed.
"At the time, I was just worried about your situation, so I snapped at the Upper System."
Saria was a little uneasy. She hadn't expected the Upper System to have such a hidden identity. If that was the case, Su Rui calling the Upper System "Old Deng" would sound like a family member, but it would be inappropriate for her to call it that.
Su Rui wouldn't be angry about this, would she? Saria couldn't help but feel a little nervous.
Then she heard Su Rui's indifferent voice. "Oh, it's nothing. That's just how the Upper System is. It always likes to do things that make people angry. Even a friendly and approachable person like me can't help but curse at it."
Su Rui's self-evaluation was slightly taken aback by Saria, but she didn't say anything; instead, a smile appeared on her lips.
'In that case, let's continue with our current actions.'
"Don't rush, Saria. I want to know how you insulted her. Can you let me hear it over there?"
What kind of words would the usually serious Saria use to curse? Su Rui was very curious and wanted to know the specifics.
'I call her Old Deng... just like the term you use to address your Upper System.'
"Your vocabulary is so limited."
As Su Rui casually remarked, the Doctor and his team had already arrived inside Rhine Lab.
The route Su Rui pointed out was an elevator, but it didn't seem to have a descending option.
"How do we get down?" Saria looked at the control panel with some confusion.
"Don't worry, if it weren't for me, you would have had to take the stairs down, but since I'm here..."
Su Rui paused as she spoke, seemingly operating something, and then the elevator began to descend automatically.
"The descent was controlled by an ID card, but I hacked into the system and took control of the elevator's descent."
As the elevator continued to descend, Saria and the others could already see the enormous underground cavity through the elevator's glass windows.
If it weren't for Su Rui, it would definitely have taken a lot of effort to find her. As Saria looked at the scan map and detailed route analysis that appeared in her field of vision, a smile involuntarily crept onto her lips.
The Doctor also looked at Saria: "Did you find anything?"
"Hmm, Su Rui marked a very special facility, which appears to be a huge well, which he calls the Energy Well."
Saria glanced at the facility marked by Su Rui, somewhat puzzled. "But what exactly is the purpose of this facility?"
"You'll find out soon enough, but let's deal with the situation now; someone's coming."
As Su Rui spoke, she highlighted the active individuals in the Scanning Vision that Saria hadn't paid attention to earlier.
"Ho'olheyak, she has many identities. In short, her current task should be to stop you."
As Su Rui introduced it, a creature appeared with Liberi feathers on its head, but with a smooth, scaly tail like that of Feline.
Just as Su Rui was giving her a warning, a woman named Ho'olheyak arrived in front of Saria and the Doctor.
"I'll deal with her."
Saria said coldly, then shoved Muelsyse was on her shoulder, into the Doctor's arms, before looking directly at Ho'olheyak who was approaching.
"So, besides you, there was no one else capable of fighting."
As Su Rui spoke, she cautioned, "Be careful, she's very good at creating hurricanes. Be careful not to get blown away."
'Then I should remind the Doctor.'
Saria frowned, instinctively wanting to speak, but then heard Su Rui's voice stop her:
"Don't worry, I've already told Mom. Besides, with you here, there's no need to worry about this at all. Because of her hurricane, you've blocked the wind, so it won't hurt Mom and the others."
'What kind of joke is this?' Saria glanced at Ho'olheyak, who had an enigmatic smile, feeling a little puzzled.
How could a hurricane only hit one person? That's impossible.
Therefore, Saria decided to keep the battle away from the Doctor and his companions to Doctor them encountering any danger.
It was only at this moment that Saria realized something: how could Su Rui have two mothers?
Forget it, now is not the time to think about this, and besides, it's not important. As long as Su Rui is safe and sound here with me, that's enough.
With this thought in mind, Saria looked at Ho'olheyak in front of her, clenched her fists, and prepared for battle.
"You don't seem surprised by my arrival, Director Saria?"
Ho'olheyak approached, staff in hand, and then suddenly heard her cell phone talking in her pocket:
"Hey, your tail looks great, can I touch it? And your ear feathers, they look pretty too."
Ho'olheyak glanced at her pocket with some surprise, then looked at Saria: "Is this your companion? A cute little child at that~ If you come to me, I might consider giving you a hug~"
Su Rui immediately retorted, somewhat annoyed, "What nonsense are you spouting! I'm an adult, and theoretically, I'm much older than you!"
"Is that so?" Ho'olheyak wanted to continue talking with Su Rui, Su Rui Saria interrupted Ho'olheyak conversation.
For once, Saria revealed a somewhat gloomy expression, coldly interrupting the conversation between Ho'olheyak and Su Rui, and instructing Su Rui:
"Alright, Su Rui, don't talk to shady people, and don't touch other people's tails. It's very impolite."
Without realizing it, Saria's tone became somewhat stern, almost as if she were reprimanding Ifrit.
In fact, Saria disliked what Su Rui had said to Ho'olheyak, and she couldn't help but add:
"If you want, you can touch my tail later."
"Thanks, Saria, but you guys should fight first. I was just saying that casually."
Su Rui awkwardly interrupted Saria, as well as Ho'olheyak was about to speak again from a short distance away.
Saria snapped out of her thoughts, clenched her fist, and looked at Ho'olheyak in front of her.
However, Ho'olheyak showed no intention of attacking, simply holding her staff and saying, "How about we make a deal? I won't stop you, but I'll go with you."
"Fat Snake, you wouldn't be up to any tricks behind my back, would you?" Su Rui asked warily.
Volume 4, Chapter 216: You Fat Snake!
Ho'olheyak paused for a moment, then couldn't help but raise her hand and point her finger at her cheek. "Fat Snake? Are you talking about me?"
"Otherwise what? I know you're not really fat, but I feel like this nickname suits you well, and it even sounds kind of cute, Fat Snake."
Su Rui said something that left Ho'olheyak somewhat stunned. Just as Ho'olheyak was in a daze, Saria suddenly flashed close and punched Ho'olheyak hard in the stomach.
The powerful punch from Saria caused Ho'olheyak to arch her body like a shrimp, and even float in mid-air due to the force of the punch. Then, some saliva was involuntarily knocked out of her mouth.
Then, Ho'olheyak convulsed and fell to the ground, but was caught by Saria and carried on her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. The staff was put into the System Space by Su Rui.
Su Rui apologized somewhat embarrassedly:
"Sorry, but there's no way to know what you're thinking, so this is the only way I can make sure you won't cause any trouble."
The things I just said, calling Ho'olheyak "Fat Snake," were, while perhaps a spontaneous remark from Su Rui, were actually primarily intended to attract Ho'olheyak's attention so that Saria could find a suitable opportunity to make her move.
"However, I had Saria control her strength and keep you conscious so you can act with us."
Su Rui was quite happy to have another companion.
However, Ho'olheyak looked at Saria with eyes full of questions and accusations. If Su Rui had a physical body, Horhyah would probably have looked at Su Rui with the same resentful gaze.
Because of the intense pain, Ho'olheyak is now unable to even speak.
Su Rui whispered to comfort her, "Don't be angry. We can become good friends later. Trust is built up little by little."
"..." Ho'olheyak didn't even have the strength to refute Su Rui's words, she just rolled her eyes.
Su Rui didn't seem to care about her expression, and instead said to herself, "If you want to fight, you can hit back when we meet later, but I can't guarantee I won't fight back~"
Ho'olheyak immediately lowered her head, as if she had fainted, ignoring Su Rui completely and not even giving her a glance.
However, Su Rui obtained Ho'olheyak's physiological data through Scanning Vision and knew that she was not unconscious at all.
"Let's go. Fat Snake doesn't want to talk right now, but that won't stop us from moving forward."
Su Rui glanced at Ho'olheyak again. Even if Ho'olheyak still wanted to act, Su Rui had already removed all the dangerous items from her, so she posed almost no threat.
With Su Rui's Scanning Vision of vision providing further warning, Ho'olheyak could no longer cause any trouble.
However, Su Rui noticed that Muelsyse, whom the Doctor had put aside, seemed to be acting differently, so she spoke directly on her phone:
"Look, that Water Spirit still hasn't woken up, but it's too much work for Saria to carry two sacks at once. How about we leave her here?"
That's what she said on the surface, but what Su Rui said in Saria's mind was:
"Muelsyse is awake. Let's scare her a little."
Saria paused for a moment, a slight smile involuntarily appearing on her lips, and continued, following Su Rui's lead:
"Hmm, I see there's a refrigerator over there. We can put her in there; it shouldn't be a problem."
As she spoke, Saria walked towards Muelsyse, as if she really intended to do so.
Still pretending to be asleep, Muelsyse heard Saria's footsteps and genuinely thought Saria was going to throw her into the refrigerator. She immediately scrambled to her feet, waving her hands and backing away.
"Wait, wait, Saria, I'm awake now! Don't throw me in the fridge! Besides, who would throw a sleeping person in a fridge?"
As he spoke, Muelsyse looked left and right, searching for Su Rui's whereabouts, and then heard Su Rui's voice:
