Ark Simulator, Don't I Have No Physical Form?
"I don't have much to say about my past. It was a monotonous life, without any ups or downs. To put it simply, it was torturous, but not so bad that you'd want to die. That's how I got through it. Overall, compared to those terrible times, I was doing pretty well. At least I didn't have to worry about not having enough to eat."
Su Rui casually chatted about her own affairs, then looked at Ifrit: "Someone's here to see you. Did Ifrit finish her homework today?"
"Don't worry, it's fine if I go back a little late!" Ifrit said smugly, "I usually finish my homework on time, Silence won't be angry."
"Is that so?" Su Rui glanced at Silence standing behind Ifrit. Himer's winged hands and reflective round-framed glasses made Silence look very imposing at that moment.
Ifrit didn't notice Su Rui's projection looking behind her, but a gentle hand landed on Ifrit's shoulder from behind, causing the little girl to tremble involuntarily. She then stiffly turned her head and met Silence's gaze.
"Hmm, Silence, I didn't mean to not go back, but look, I found Saria again, and Su Rui is here too."
"...I know, so I don't blame you, Ifrit. Sit down, I'll sit here and chat with you."
As he spoke, Silence sat down next to Ifrit, in the spot where Su Rui's projection was located.
Once again, someone's projection overlapped with Su Rui's.
Saria wasn't so bothered this time; she just wanted to laugh.
Su Rui noticed it too, so he stood up and glared at Saria with annoyance. "What are you laughing at? Move over and make room for me."
Saria nodded, moved to the side, and sat opposite Ifrit, introducing them as follows:
"Su Rui is here too, but right now only I can see his projection, right here."
As she spoke, Saria pointed to the spot next to her, which was opposite Silence.
"Is that so? Hello, Su Rui." Although Silence couldn't see Su Rui, Su Rui had already proven his presence, and Saria wasn't the type to make jokes like that, so Silence greeted Su Rui across from him.
Hello, Silence.
Then the atmosphere became awkward. Su Rui couldn't think of anything to say for a moment, so she simply remained silent. Anyway, Silence and the others couldn't see it, so Su Rui didn't need to worry about anything.
Silence could also sense something from the atmosphere, so she simply tidied Ifrit's hair and started a conversation:
"Speaking of which, what do Su Rui usually do with Ifrit? I'm just curious. I heard from Saria that you were in charge of taking care of Ifrit while you were in Mansfield, and she became very well-behaved."
"I just taught Ifrit a few things. Finishing her homework early means Ifrit can relax and rest sooner." Of course, Su Rui wouldn't mention that he would also play games with Ifrit while tutoring her.
If Silence finds out, even if the gentle Silence doesn't say anything directly, she'll still limit Ifrit's gaming time, right? Although Silence is probably already limiting Ifrit's time now.
After chatting with Su Rui for a while, Su Rui stood up from her seat. "We'll head back now. Ifrit still has homework to finish. Su Rui should be at Rhodes Island recently, right? You guys have time later."
With that, Silence took Ifrit's hand and led the little girl away.
Volume 4, Chapter 224: The Day of Physicalization
Ifrit was taken away by Silence, looking back every few steps as if hoping that Saria would call her back.
Su Rui couldn't help but laugh at Ifrit's expression; the little girl was really amusing.
When Su Rui turned to look at Saria, she found that Saria also had a smile on her face, a genuine smile of happiness.
"Why are you laughing so happily?" Su Rui asked, puzzled. But Saria didn't answer directly. Instead, she placed the menu in front of Su Rui: "Order whatever you'd like to drink. We'll take it back with us."
"Oh." Su Rui assumed that Saria didn't want to stay in this place any longer, so she picked out a few more items. Anyway, they could be put in the refrigerator, so there was no need to worry about them lasting too long.
Saria finished her lemonade and caramel macchiato, then headed towards her dorm with the drinks she had bought for Su Rui.
Back in the room, Su Rui's projection appeared on Saria's bed, lazily yawning and asking:
"Do you want to continue drinking? If you can't finish it, put it in the refrigerator to store it. There's no rush."
Saria nodded. "I really can't drink anymore."
However, Saria didn't put the drinks in the refrigerator. Instead, she placed them on the table, smiled, and sat on the edge of the bed watching Su Rui's projection.
"What's wrong?" Su Rui looked at Saria with some confusion, not understanding what she wanted to do.
But Su Rui quickly found out the answer, because after seeing Saria's smiling face again, he suddenly felt a heaviness in his body and a chill.
"..." Looking down at the wrinkled blanket beneath her, Su Rui suddenly realized that, after all, a projection wouldn't have any weight.
"I see. I originally thought there was still two percent of progress left. Is it because of our chat that the materialization progress is full?"
Su Rui nodded thoughtfully, then Saria grabbed her tail. "Ouch, be gentle. Speaking of which Vouivre's tail isn't easy to touch; it feels like it's covered in barbs."
Su Rui wagged her tail and glanced at Saria.
But Saria didn't say much, she just handed him a drink. "Hungry? Have some energy."
"... You wouldn't be thinking of... hmm?"
Before Su Rui could finish speaking, Saria silenced her with a kiss, sticking out her tongue.
"Waaah~" After struggling for a while, Su Rui realized that even though they were both Vouivre, the difference in Saria physical abilities was still too great, and since she couldn't break free, she couldn't speak.
With this in mind, he had no choice but to use his telepathy to tell Saria something he considered very important:
"If you want to do something intimate, you should prepare more purified water, because sweating too much will make you dehydrated, and I don't think sweet drinks quench your thirst."
Even at a time like this, she was still concerned about this matter. Saria couldn't help but find it somewhat amusing, and in her mind, she answered Su Rui's request in the same way:
Okay, don't worry, you won't go without water.
I want real water!
'Of course I'm talking about regular water, what else are you talking about?'
"Of course I'm talking about proper water." Su Rui wasn't embarrassed by Saria's teasing; even if she misunderstood, he could still stick to his guns.
Saria smiled, took Su Rui to the kitchen to get a few bottles of mineral water, and then pounced on her again with Su Rui.
Fortunately, Rhodes Island has excellent soundproofing, so even though Saria and Su Rui were making a lot of noise and even broke the bed, no one outside noticed anything unusual.
If someone were to come and see Saria and Su Rui's bed right now, they would think that the two of them weren't being affectionate at all; they were probably just trying to get a different bed, which is why they were kicking and punching it.
... Due to the time difference, although it was night when Myriad Star Garden ascended into space, it was actually morning when it landed around Rhodes Island.
Saria and Su Rui didn't eat lunch, and they didn't even respond to phone calls.
It wasn't until evening that passing operators were surprised to discover that a handsome young man with white hair and red eyes Vouivre, had appeared on Rhodes Island.
The handsome young man was none other than Su Rui, who was now lazily following beside Saria as they walked towards the restaurant. Su Rui wasn't worried about where to sleep; if all else failed, he could ask the Doctor for help, or he could simply sleep on the mattress.
With Su Rui by her side, both Saria and Su Rui became the center of attention. Everyone's eyes were drawn to Su Rui, captivated by his irresistible charm.
Saria frowned slightly, trying to use her aura to make the gazes around her, which were practically glued to Su Rui, recede.
But even with Saria's imposing presence, Rhodes Island itself is full of hidden talents, and there are always some who aren't afraid of Saria, still staring intently at Su Rui.
And so, Su Rui and Saria arrived at the restaurant with a bunch of "people going the same way" behind them.
Saria glanced at Su Rui, who remained unfazed by the situation, standing behind him and blocking the view of those around them. Then, she suggested to Suri, who was selecting food, "Would you like to try some steak?"
"You mean this?" Su Rui glanced at it, then shook her head in refusal. "No, I don't like meat chops with blood on them, and they're hard to chew if they're fully cooked."
"Give it a try. Vouivre has a strong chewing ability. I'll eat what he can't finish."
As Saria spoke, she reached out from beside Su Rui's cheek and placed a piece of pork chop on Su Rui's plate.
"Then why don't you just chew it for me and feed it to me?"
Su Rui tilted her head back, gave Saria a mischievous grin, then moved aside with her tray to let Saria get her lunch.
Saria was taken aback, not expecting Su Rui to say that. However, although she didn't understand, she still tentatively asked, "Shall we give it a try?"
"Uh, no, no need, I was just saying it offhand. I can't really accept this." Su Rui gagged and urged.
"Okay, okay, hurry up, I'm starving!"
Although Saria had prepared drinks for Su Rui, Suri had been fighting from morning till evening and hadn't eaten anything for lunch. Su Rui felt it was amazing that she hadn't fainted from hunger.
As we all know, most children love to join in the fun, so Su Rui and Saria, having attracted so much attention, were quickly spotted by Ifrit was having lunch at the restaurant.
Volume 4, Chapter 225: The Fist Hardened
"Saria!" Upon seeing Saria and Su Rui, Ifrit didn't even glance at them, ignoring the stares of those around her focused on Saria and Su Rui, and went straight to Saria's side, waving and calling out.
It's normal for children not to understand the atmosphere, and Su Rui and Saria didn't mind. After all, they had already spent almost the entire day being affectionate, so a little more wouldn't make a difference.
Both Su Rui and Saria just wanted to have a nice dinner at the restaurant, especially Su Rui, who didn't want to go hungry.
As for those around who were openly "peeping," some of them might indeed be unhappy about Ifrit's appearance, since Ifrit had directly barged into an atmosphere they didn't want to disturb.
But Ifrit was still just a child at heart, and no one would take her seriously.
Upon reaching Saria, Ifrit noticed the beautiful white-haired, red-eyed boy sitting beside Saria. Even Ifrit's eyes lit up, and she exclaimed in surprise:
"Look how beautiful you are, Saria, do you know her?"
Su Rui gently nudged Saria, who was about to answer, with her shoulder, then spoke first, smiling at Ifrit:
"Ifrit, don't you recognize me?"
"Huh?" Ifrit stared wide-eyed at Su Rui, finding his voice somewhat familiar. After a moment's thought, the girl came to her conclusion. "You're Su Rui!"
"Yes, it's me. I can finally meet you all like this now."
Su Rui smiled and waved to Ifrit: "Alright, hurry up and get something to eat, then come over and we'll talk slowly."
"I understand!" Ifrit glanced at the handsome young man before her, whose aura made her want to be close to him, nodded, and greeted him.
"Su Rui, don't you dare sneak away while I'm going to get that thing!"
With that, Ifrit rushed toward the food counter.
What reason would I have to run away secretly?
Su Rui muttered a complaint under her breath, which was then overheard by Saria beside her.
"Because you disappeared without a word before."
"That's not my fault, it was clearly that old man from the Upper System who did it."
Su Rui retorted, dissatisfied, "This wasn't even my fault in the first place."
"So Ifrit doesn't blame you." Saria smiled and couldn't help but reach out and touch Su Rui's hair.
"I'm not a child like Ifrit, who doesn't appreciate being patted on the head, and I don't find it comfortable either."
As Su Rui spoke, just as Saria felt a little embarrassed and tried to pull her hand away, she reached out and grabbed her wrist. Then she rubbed her cheek against Saria's hand, opened her eyes, and slowly expressed her thoughts:
"But this way... it feels pretty good."
As Su Rui spoke, she glanced at Saria's expression. The beautiful young man with white hair and red eyes exuded an aura that made people subconsciously want to be close to him, and he was even rubbing his hand against hers. Although his gaze wasn't intentional, it was indeed very alluring.
Looking at Su Rui like this, her heart skipped a beat, and her breathing became heavier involuntarily. If this weren't a public place, she probably would have picked Su Rui up and done something to her.
But now, Saria could only subconsciously tense her body and stare straight at Su Rui.
Su Rui also noticed Saria's gaze and reaction, since the Scanning Vision had already revealed all of Saria's changes.
Faced with this blatant manipulation, Su Rui couldn't help but wink at her provocatively.
"What? You want to do something to me here? Do you dare?"
Saria felt her fist harden, and not just her fist, but her unseen phantom limbs hardened as well.
Su Rui looked incredibly alluring, and the women sitting around her couldn't help but gasp softly, making the restaurant quite lively.
Su Rui didn't pay much attention to that. After sensing the palm of her hand for a while and noticing Ifrit bringing a plate of food in her Scanning Vision, he let go of Saria's hand and continued eating his dinner.
Ifrit was accompanied by Silence. Silence noticed something amiss with Saria, but before she could ask anything, Ifrit excitedly introduced them:
"This is Su Rui, the Su Rui who helped us before! He's so handsome!"
"... Hello, Su Rui, this is the first time we've met like this."
Silence nodded, greeted Su Rui in front of her, and then glanced somewhat awkwardly at the way Saria and Su Rui were sitting together intimately.
"Have we disturbed you? I'll leave with Ifrit right away."
As she spoke, Silence tried to pull Ifrit away, but Su Rui stopped her:
"No, no, Saria and I have been being affectionate in our room all day. We only came out because we were hungry. We didn't disturb you. Please sit down. Besides, I also want to talk to Ifrit."
"Well... alright." Silence glanced at Ifrit, but still led Ifrit to sit down in front of Su Rui and Saria.
With playmates around, Su Rui and Ifrit became less interested in the food in front of them.
Although Su Rui still ate a lot, anyone could tell that Su Rui attention was now focused on discussing the game with Ifrit.
"That final boss was designed to be ridiculous. It had an incredibly long combo, dealt so much damage, and had such a wide attack range that you couldn't fight it with normal rolling. I had to use my Fingerprint Shield to poke it through the level."
