Ark Simulator, Am I Not Without a Physical Body?
Maria really wanted to switch back with Su Rui, but she was just a novice driver, and given the current situation, Maria wasn't confident she could handle the car properly.
So all she could do was watch in her mind as Su Rui drove recklessly, screaming incessantly to try and remind Su Rui to slow down.
Fortunately, although Su Rui's driving was dangerous, she didn't hit anything along the way. Her driving caused some chaos, and eventually the van stopped in Zofia's yard, where Su Rui replaced it with Zofia's perfectly intact car.
Then, having regained her body, Zofia stood up unsteadily, hoisted her aunt onto her back, and almost fell over with Zofia as they walked:
' Su Rui, didn't you say you were a great driver? You even won first place in the race!' How is that considered a great driver?!
"My number one ranking is beyond question!"
'What kind of competition did you participate in?' This kind of competition is extremely harmful!
Then Maria learned from Su Rui:
"Shooting is allowed in this kind of competition, and the death of opponents is considered within the rules, so you just need to take out all the opponents. However, this damn system sometimes prevents some vehicles from overloading and exploding, and they even have invincible health. You have to win by skill, damn it!"
Volume 5, Chapter 267: Defeat the opponent, and I will be number one!
How could such an absurd competition exist?
Maria couldn't help but be surprised by the match Su Rui mentioned: 'Now I finally know how you won your matches, Su Rui.'
It can only be said that Su Rui's first place was probably not due to her driving skills, but rather because she defeated her opponents:
'How did you defeat those enemies who had invincible health?' Maria was also curious about this. Since Su Rui mentioned 'invincible health,' it must mean they were impossible to defeat in some way, right?
"It's quite troublesome. Even when I slow down, I can't hit the person in the driver's seat, or they don't react at all. I can only slow them down by forcing them to stop, and then I can overtake them myself."
What is mandatory parking?
"It's hacking technology. I can directly control the systems of those vehicles and activate the brakes. However, this system is useless for the current vehicles in Terra, because the level of electronic integration in these cars is too low."
That's good. Maria was really afraid that Su Rui might suddenly decide to bring all the cars on the road to an abrupt stop.
After putting Zofia in her bedroom and covering her with a blanket, Maria returned to her own room, tidied herself up, and closed her eyes.
'I feel like so much happened today. See you tomorrow, Su Rui.'
"Okay, see you tomorrow."
Su Rui greeted Maria, then turned her attention to other things.
After all, the Knight Tournament isn't just Maria's game; there are many other factors to consider.
The next morning, Maria, who hadn't drunk any alcohol, got up early and was already in the kitchen, chatting with Su Rui while making breakfast.
'In a few days I'll be facing a new opponent, apparently a knight named Left Hand. He's played against my sister before, so he must be quite formidable.'
"He's just a defeated opponent of Margaret's; he'll be your defeated opponent too."
Su Rui didn't seem to care. "If you really can't beat them, then let me do it."
"I know, at least trust me a little, I've learned a lot in recent battles."
Maria pouted slightly, a little annoyed, but she was also happy about Su Rui's concern. In Maria's understanding, Su Rui meant that if she encountered a situation she couldn't handle, Su Rui would personally appear to deal with it.
What a warm and reassuring statement!
Maria couldn't help but smile foolishly, and then she heard footsteps coming down the stairs outside; it must be Zofia waking up.
Maria shuddered involuntarily, a hint of resentment in her heart: 'Aunt Zofia is awake? Why didn't Su Rui warn me?'
"Have you done anything wrong? Why are you so concerned about when she'll wake up?"
'Hmm, I don't know either.' Maria thought for a moment but couldn't come up with a reason. She was just subconsciously a little wary of Zofia, her aunt.
At this moment, the hungover Zofia also arrived at the kitchen door, rubbing her temples and saying somewhat uncomfortably:
"Good morning, Maria. Thank you for making breakfast today. Where's the chef?"
"Didn't you give the chef a break before, Aunt? We've been cooking for ourselves lately."
Maria answered while looking at the breakfast in front of her, her heart growing even more nervous.
"Hmm... I feel like I wasn't just drunk last night, I also sat in the back seat of a guy with terrible driving skills for a long time, and I felt so uncomfortable, like I was washed in a washing machine."
"Haha, maybe you're just imagining things because you're drunk, Auntie?"
Maria's lips twitched, and she complained to Su Rui in her heart, "Look, our aunt almost found out what we did last night."
"Don't worry, she was really drunk at the time, there's absolutely no way she could have noticed."
Su Rui wasn't worried. "Just hurry up and make breakfast to distract her."
"Hmm." Maria nodded, her gaze involuntarily drifting to Zofia leaning against the door. She noticed that even in her pajamas, with her hair slightly tousled, her aunt was incredibly charming. Anyone would be captivated, right?
So, could Su Rui develop feelings for her aunt?
With this thought in mind, Maria couldn't help but feel a little worried. She then prepared breakfast and greeted Zofia outside, "Aunt, breakfast is ready. Go and change your clothes."
Stop trying to seduce me, Su Rui, in your pajamas. Besides, I didn't change your pajamas at all. Did you get up and change yourself last night?
Maria was puzzled and asked directly, "I don't remember changing my aunt's clothes last night, why is she wearing pajamas?"
"She woke up briefly in the middle of the night, seemingly wanting to talk to me, but she didn't have my number, so she just talked nonsense on her phone. After that, she changed into her pajamas and went back to sleep."
' Su Rui, did you speak to your aunt?'
"I told her to go to sleep."
Maria pursed her lips, said nothing, simply portioned the breakfast onto plates, and then went to the dining room.
Maria just wanted to finish breakfast quickly so she could go to training, preferably away from her aunt.
You seem a little unhappy. What happened?
Su Rui couldn't figure out why Maria suddenly seemed unhappy, so he asked her directly.
"It's nothing, I just wanted to know, Su Rui, when can you come and stay with me?"
"I can be with you right now, just put on your armor."
Maria paused for a moment, then said, "Okay, I'll finish my breakfast."
"What's there to eat? Zofia's not here anyway," Su Rui said, changing Maria's clothes into the armor Su Rui had designed for her.
'But, Su Rui, what are you doing?'
Maria was puzzled, then suddenly realized that her own arm was moving. She patted her shoulder—no, it wasn't her arm that was moving, but rather Maria's armor was being controlled and was moving along with her arm.
"This suit of armor has a lot of electronic circuitry. I can control it to interact with you. Besides, haven't I always lived in your mind? I've always been with you."
Su Rui's words, which Maria hadn't quite understood, suddenly made everything clear, and for a moment she was even moved to tears:
'I've always wanted to be face-to-face with you, but I've overlooked so many things. You've always been by my side.'
"... What are you talking about? Isn't this just common sense?"
Su Rui still didn't understand what Maria was thinking, but Maria didn't say anything, instead smiling and saying, "Su Rui, would you like to try some? I put a lot of effort into today's breakfast~"

"Of course, what do you want to eat? Break me some."
After hearing Maria's words, Su Rui, without any hesitation, seemed to want to get closer. Maria smiled and directly switched bodies with Su Rui:
'Finish your food quickly before Auntie arrives, so she doesn't find out.'
"Okay, I understand."
Su Rui nodded and took the whole plate away.
"That way we won't be discovered, right?" With that, Su Rui took her breakfast and headed outside.
'That's not good table manners... whatever makes you happy, Su Rui.'
Maria thought for a moment and didn't stop Su Rui. Instead, she watched as he, dressed in armor, came to the outside of the castle and looked up, seemingly wanting to go upstairs.
'The stairs are inside the castle; there's no way up from the outside.'
Maria thought Su Rui had misunderstood the building's structure and instinctively reminded Su Rui as if she were a child.
"I know, just you wait and see."
Su Rui stored the breakfast into her System Space, and then, wings unfolded from the back of her armor!
"What is this?!" Maria exclaimed in surprise, then saw Su Rui control her body, wearing armor, and fly up to the top of the castle.
"Of course it's wings! I told you, armor has many functions. Didn't you read the instruction manual I gave you?"
"I did look carefully, but I thought you meant a brief gliding jump..."
After all, that kind of technology is a bit ahead of its time for Terra, especially in terms of armor.
"I remember someone in Columbia developed a jetpack, so what's so surprising?"
As Su Rui spoke, she directly showed the Columbia had developed the jetpack, but Maria didn't seem to approve.
'This kind of equipment, which only has the ability to fly and not to fight, is incomparable to your armor; it's far inferior to Su Rui's.'
"Hmm, I'm actually quite grateful that you're on my side."
A smile involuntarily crept onto Su Rui's lips as she leisurely stood atop the castle, gazing at the city skyline while enjoying her breakfast.
Maria, meanwhile, was pondering something: ' Su Rui, my physical abilities can't be improved quickly, but do you have a way to rapidly enhance my combat skills?'
"...Indeed." Su Rui thought for a moment, then nodded while controlling Maria's body, a wicked smile spreading across his face. "Just give me your body, and I'll help you win every battle."
'But in reality, it's still Su Rui doing the sub-playing, right? My combat skills won't improve.'
"Wrong, completely wrong. You'll naturally learn fighting techniques just by watching me fight."
As Su Rui spoke, she took out a helmet that could cover her cheeks and put it on. "You'll see for yourself if you don't believe me."
Where did the helmet come from?
"I stole it from the safe containing the secret recipe for Bikini Bottom crab roe buns."
Su Rui, rambling incoherently, jumped down from the top of the castle, placed her breakfast plate in the kitchen, and bumped into Zofia had just finished eating breakfast.
"Maria? Your helmet is quite nice. Is it a new design?"
Zofia looked at "Maria" with some curiosity, feeling that something was different about Maria, but she couldn't see it clearly through the helmet.
Su Rui didn't answer Zofia, but instead drew her sword and greeted her:
"Hmm, let me test your skills."
"You're not Maria? What's going on?"
"I'm the one controlling this armor now!"
"Su Rui?" Zofia was taken aback, and immediately thought of Su Rui, who was closely related to Maria.
"You guessed right, too bad there's no reward. Let me show you what I'm capable of! Let's go outside!"
Su Rui proudly gestured with her chin to Zofia, indicating that she should follow her outside.
"What are you talking about? Suddenly you want to fight? And Maria agreed to let you borrow her armor?"
Zofia questioned Su Rui, but still followed him.
"Of course, by the way, if you lose, I'll be Maria's coach from now on."
As Su Rui spoke, she gave Zofia a smug smile, "Don't come crying and saying things like 'Oh no!' when the time comes!"
"So you won't cry after you lose, will you?"
Zofia snorted and stood in front of Su Rui, her Whislash poised to strike. Although she was also curious about Su Rui's abilities, she was determined not to lose this match!
Then, Zofia discovered that no matter how she tried to find an opening and swung her Whislash, even performing better than usual due to the pressure, she couldn't touch the armor at all, let alone defeat Su Rui.
"Tsk, like a slippery eel." Zofia couldn't help but feel annoyed, but Su Rui was already prepared:
"Have you had enough? Even a fairy like me would fight back!"
"!" With Su Rui's shout, Zofia became alert, and then she saw Su Rui throw away her sword and charge straight at her.
"What are you doing?! Dropping your weapon, how reckless!" Zofia couldn't help but want to teach Su Rui a lesson at this moment.
Su Rui retorted, not to be outdone. "I'm the strongest, you idiot! I only threw away my weapon so as not to hurt you!"
As he spoke, Su Rui approached Zofia and delivered a powerful punch to Zofia's abdomen. Su Rui controlled his strength to prevent Zofia from suffering serious injury, but it was bound to hurt terribly.
