Ark Simulator, Don't I Lack a Physical Body?
"If you're unhappy, you can scare those people, like controlling their electrical switches or making strange images appear on them. Here, the controller can control these places I marked. Take it and play with it."
Seeing Maria's still somewhat unwilling expression, Su Rui smiled and handed Maria a transparent tablet.
Maria nodded, picked up the tablet Su Rui had given her, and started playing with it. Like a child attracted by a toy, she quieted down.
Zofia was rather curious about the underlying principles, and while driving, she asked Su Rui:
"So, how does that tablet work? Can it be controlled simply by clicking? Did you demonstrate your abilities to Maria in this way?"
"Actually, no. There's no way to transfer my abilities; only I can use them. It's probably some kind of protective measure set up by *(...*).
Su Rui lay on her side on Maria's lap, replying somewhat lazily, "Actually, this tablet-viewing method is very clumsy and lazy. Simply put, I can see all of Maria's actions, then take corresponding actions according to her commands, and then feed the results back to Maria, making her think that everything is fully automatic."
Su Rui thought for a moment and said, "It's similar to a self-service ticket machine. You think you put money in and buy a ticket using the computer, but actually the money and ticket are calculated by the machine and then handed to you."
"I see." Zofia nodded, finding it amusing but also wondering, "Su Rui, what... what setting are you talking about? I didn't quite catch that?"
"If you can't hear me, so be it. Who knows when that old man will think of blocking others? Just consider him some mysterious and great being."
"Hmm, so Su Rui, your background is also mysterious and great, right?" Zofia was in a good mood. Although Su Rui's personality was a bit casual and childish, that was precisely why Su Rui was more likely to reveal his secrets.
With this thought in mind, Zofia glanced at the rearview mirror at Su Rui resting his head on Maria's lap, the two of them looking intimate, and waited for Su Rui's reply.
"My origins? They could certainly be described as mysterious and extraordinary, right? Actually, I don't remember them very clearly myself."
Su Rui frowned. He only knew that he was at least tens of thousands of years old, but everything else was a bit blurry, like memories that had faded because they were too far away.
"If you can't figure it out, don't dwell on it too much. The most important thing is to focus on the present, isn't it?"
Seeing Su Rui's conflicted expression, Zofia didn't press her for details. Instead, she spoke meaningfully about her relationship with Maria.
However, on the surface, it seemed as if Su Rui was specifically made to care about Maria.
Maria didn't seem to care that Su Rui knew everything about her every move. After all, the two had done all sorts of intimate things, so it was normal to feel a little embarrassed.
So Maria only glanced at Su Rui and Zofia's interaction before continuing to play with her tablet, only reaching out to pinch Su Rui's cheek.
Soon, Zofia brought Su Rui and Maria back home.
Maria eagerly took the transparent tablet Su Rui had given her upstairs, leaving behind only the words, "I need to rest now. You guys chat first. Su Rui can play some games downstairs~"
"Okay, I got it." Su Rui waved his hand but didn't follow. He did intend to play games; after all, he needed to relax afterward.
Zofia was somewhat skeptical. She opened the back seat and sat down next to Su Rui was still lying there. "Did Maria really go to sleep?"
"No, she's just playing around with those reporters who are spreading rumors about her." Su Rui took out her phone from her pocket and showed a video of Maria hiding under the covers, manipulating the device on the screen to scare the reporters.
"I never expected her to have such a childish side."
Zofia chuckled awkwardly, then looked at Su Rui: "So, you're free now? You just finished a match. Want to grab a drink with me?"
"Okay, but I like sweet drinks, and of course, it would be even better if I didn't feel thirsty after drinking them."
"What kind of outlandish drink is this?"
Zofia smiled helplessly and reached out to Su Rui was still lying in the chair, up.
"Come on, although we don't have any alcoholic drinks that won't make us thirsty, I do have some sweet drinks here."
Zofia smiled and deliberately brought up the topic of alcoholic beverages to test Su Rui's reaction.
If Su Rui doesn't object to drinking, then perhaps she could... test Su Rui's opinion of her?
Although she knew it was somewhat unethical to do such a thing while Maria was unaware, Zofia still couldn't suppress her inner urges.
I'll give it a try. I'm just giving it a try, and what if Su Rui isn't interested in me? Maybe then I can give up without worry.
Speak words that forced her to believe, Zofia led Su Rui to the bar on the other side of the first-floor lobby and pressed Su Rui down into a chair in front of the bar.
Zofia then proudly went behind her bar:
"This bar is something I put a lot of thought into preparing; it has a wide variety of drinks! You're the first person to drink here with me!"
"Then I'm truly honored." Su Rui smiled, leaned on the bar counter in front of her, and tapped it with her hand.
"Waiter, warm a bowl of wine and a plate of fennel beans."

"I don't know where you got that idea from, but the drinks here don't taste better when they're warm; we usually have them on the rocks."
As Zofia spoke, she poured a glass of white drink and placed it in front of Su Rui, smiling at him. "We usually add ice."
"Hmm, I think it's because the drinks tasted a bit strange that they had to add ice to adjust the flavor... It smelled like paint."
As Su Rui spoke, she picked up the cup in front of her and took a sip. "Hmm~ It's pretty good, it is indeed sweet. Didn't you add any sugar?"
"I don't need to add sugar; that's the art of bartending."
Zofia poured herself a glass of wine as she spoke, "Only a very small percentage of wines are like that; yours is a stereotype."
"Okay, okay, I got it. Are there any other kinds? Even non-alcoholic ones are fine. Use your imagination! Fruit juice, alcohol, and ice cream... Come to think of it, vodka tastes like pure alcohol."
"That's because you don't drink it often and don't know how to appreciate it."
"If you drink it often, it's less about learning to appreciate it and more about becoming familiar with the taste, right?"
"You talk too much. Try this."
Zofia mixed a drink and placed it in front of Su Rui again, smiling as she looked at him.
"I haven't finished my drink yet."
"What are you afraid of? You have time to drink slowly. Besides, this is my home, understand? You don't need to be nervous. You can relax here and try another drink first."
As Zofia spoke, she pushed the glass of wine slightly towards Su Rui again.
"Okay, I understand." Su Rui picked up the glass of wine, took a small sip, and said, "It tastes pretty good."
And so, Zofia mixed several alcoholic drinks for Su Rui. Watching Su Rui drink quite a bit, and noticing the flush rising to his cheeks, she smiled and leaned close to the bar, bringing her face close to Su Rui's.
"Su Rui, I have a question for you."
"Hmm~ Go ahead and say it~" Even while sitting, Su Rui was swaying a bit, as if the alcohol had affected her brain and she couldn't keep her body steady.
This scene clearly indicates he's drunk, so questioning Su Rui is the best opportunity in this situation.
"What do you think of me?" A blush crept onto Zofia's cheeks, whether from excitement or the influence of alcohol, it was hard to tell.
Su Rui paused, then looked up blankly, as if pondering. "Um... Aunt?"
"I know," Zofia smiled through gritted teeth, but what she wanted to ask now was Su Rui's attitude towards her; she could vent her anger later.
Looking at the slightly tipsy, handsome young man before her, Zofia pondered how to pinch his adorable little face after he answered her question. "So, what does Su Rui think of me?"
Su Rui tilted her head in confusion, looking at Zofia in front of her. "My opinion of you is just aunt, nothing special. Maria calls you aunt, so I call you aunt too."
Su Rui's pure and unadulterated thoughts surprised Zofia for a moment. After a brief silence, she couldn't help but ask:
"Don't you have any other thoughts? Like, that I'm pretty? Or that someone admires me?"
"Auntie, you are indeed very beautiful, but why should I admire you? You don't have any qualities that I envy."
"Why not?" Although she didn't think she was anything special, Zofia still felt a little proud.
With this thought in mind, she couldn't help but feel a little anxious. "Don't I have any strengths?"
"Of course there are, but the aspirations I'm talking about aren't just about having good qualities."
Su Rui finished one of her drinks, then leaned closer to Zofia across the bar, counting on Zofia fingers as they went over the bill:
"First of all, I like people who can fight. Are you strong?"
"My skills are actually quite good."
"How does it compare to Młynar?"
"...I can't compare." Zofia was speechless, silently looking at Su Rui, waiting for his next topic.
"And then... well, you are indeed very beautiful, but I don't really know what kind I like. I just know that you, Aunt, aren't my type."
Although Su Rui's words left Zofia somewhat disheartened, she grasped the topic that concerned her most:
"Not particularly attractive, but still appealing, right?"
"Otherwise what? I'm a normal guy, isn't it normal for me to like pretty women?"
Su Rui rolled her eyes in annoyance and looked at Zofia: "So, after saying all this, Zofia has feelings for me, right?"
"Huh? I..." Zofia's heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively wanted to deny it and exclude herself.
However, the shame she felt and her unwillingness to give up prevented Zofia from saying no.
Seeing her hesitant expression, and realizing she herself was speechless, Su Rui couldn't help but reveal a mischievous, slightly seductive smile:
"Oh dear, you're speechless now, aren't you? So you really do have feelings for me~"
Su Rui's words and gaze infuriated Zofia, who immediately grabbed Su Rui's wrist across the bar counter.
"And what about you? You've already said I have feelings for you, haven't you?"
As she spoke, Zofia couldn't help but reach out and pinch Su Rui's cheek. "So, Su Rui, what are your thoughts? You've been through so much, you must have a lot of bad ideas, right?"
"Of course, like sister rice bowls or something~ I'm actually quite interested, but generally speaking, no one would think this kind of thing is reasonable, right? I don't know how to put it, it's fine to stay with Maria... but you've actually offered yourself up."
Su Rui winked at Zofia: "Is it possible that you're the prey, Zofia?"
"You talk a big game, but I still managed to pin you down here!"
Zofia raised her voice impatiently, wary of the possibility of Su Rui struggling.
But Su Rui didn't resist; she simply reached for another drink. "I won't lay a hand on you. I prefer to resolve problems by chatting."
As Su Rui spoke, she winked at Zofia, "Auntie~ I'm thirsty, can I have something to drink?"
"You, you shouldn't make that face at me right now!"
Zofia was momentarily speechless, but she still released Su Rui's wrist. "Don't even think about running away~"
"Hmm, but Auntie, are you really sure? If you really take this step, how will you face the consequences?"
"I need to think about it, but before that..."
Volume 5, Chapter 293: Let's get some interest first.
Zofia abruptly changed the subject, suddenly leaning close to Su Rui, then pinching Su Rui's chin and kissing Su Rui lips.
After a long while, Zofia finally released Su Rui, revealing a smug expression to him:
"Although I haven't made up my mind yet, I'll take the interest and all that."
As she spoke, Zofia walked over from behind the bar, came to Su Rui's side, and lifted him up from his seat:
"Alright, you've had too much to drink. I'll take you home first."
"I know, I know, is there a TV or something in the bedroom?"
"Yes, you are, but you're not planning to play games at this hour, are you?"
"Being drunk won't affect my gameplay."
"Whatever you want, I'm going to get some rest anyway."
Zofia led Su Rui to another room, where Su Rui shakily set up a game console and controller, connected it to the TV screen, and then, Su Rui against the bed, took out several bottles of wine and a glass from somewhere and placed them beside him.
"Where did you get this?" Zofia asked curiously, sitting down next to Su Rui with a hint of helplessness.
Su Rui is truly something else, preparing so meticulously for a game.
"I got these from your bar. They've all been opened. I also have some juice and stuff. Would you like to try some?"
Su Rui turned to look at Zofia, then noticed a pleased expression on Zofia's face. "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing. If you still have snacks, feel free to share them. I'll sit here and watch for a while."
"Hmm, I get it, it's about killing time, right? Wanting to experience the game even when you're not in the mood to play it."
Su Rui nodded, speaking somewhat dizzily, then turned on the game console and started playing.
Although Zofia had no knowledge of video games, she found some enjoyment in watching Su Rui play them.
However, Zofia's attention was actually more focused on Su Rui than on the game content. Seeing Su Rui with a slightly flushed face, still watching TV and operating the controller, she looked even cuter, though seemingly indifferent.
And best of all, in this situation, Su Rui wouldn't notice her movements.
