Ark Simulator, Don't I Have No Physical Form?
"Wait a moment, Theresa, I'm a bit busy here. Please wait a moment, I'll open the door for you after I've dealt with the American cockroaches."
Theresa, standing outside the door, paused for a moment before nodding. "I'm bringing your next companion, Su Rui. Remember to hurry."
"Don't worry, it definitely won't take long."
"How dare you? This is Princess Theresa! And who is the American cockroach?!" Wis'adel couldn't help but explode.
But Su Rui wasn't worried at all. He wasn't Sarkaz and couldn't understand Theresa's leadership over the Sarkaz, or what the Demon King's identity meant to the Sarkaz. Although Su Rui knew, he didn't care.
"So what? I'll do whatever I want in Egypt." With that, Su Rui pulled out his phone and showed it to Wis'adel.
"Look at this. Your knowledge seems to prevent you from understanding what an American cockroach is. I'll show you the real thing."
On Su Rui's phone, Wis'adel saw a large cockroach and heard Su Rui's mocking voice coming from the phone:
Don't you think you look a lot like this giant cockroach?
Then the accompanying image became a comparison picture of Wis'adel and a giant cockroach side by side.
"... You're not coming down. I'm going to blow the door open."
Wis'adel looked at the comparison photos on Su Rui's phone, wanting to reach out and snatch Su Rui phone away and smash it to the ground, when she heard Su Rui whisper in her ear:
"There's information on my phone that's needed for the operation later. I don't care about the data, but if it gets damaged, it could cause significant damage to the Babel. Theresa would be very upset, wouldn't she?"
Wis'adel immediately stopped, and Su Rui took the opportunity to reclaim the phone from his System Space.
Wis'adel couldn't resist taking out explosives from his pocket.
"You really want to embarrass me?" Before Wis'adel could even light the explosives and throw them against the door, Su Rui had already stored them in her System Space.
"Don't even think about it, I won't give you the chance to blow this door open."
Looking at the explosives that had suddenly disappeared from his hand, Wis'adel paused for a moment, then looked towards the door and suddenly punched the automatic door, making a dull thud.
The noise was heard even by Theresa outside and by the team members chosen by Su Rui who were with her.
Outcast immediately placed his hand on the revolver at his waist, watching the doorway warily. This Sankta from Laterano was now on Theresa's side.
Prince Kazdel: 307's great strength is like this.
"Don't be nervous, Outcast, let me ask what happened."
Theresa calmed the wary Outcast down. The old lady shrugged and adjusted her cowboy hat, but this time she didn't lean against the wall again. Instead, she stood there, alert for any possible developments.
Su Rui and Wis'adel exchanged glances in the room, and Su Rui spoke first:
"I'll open the door when Wis'adel's episode stops; she's got her head stuck in the door."
"I didn't, Your Highness! Don't listen to his nonsense!"
Su Rui and Wis'adel's argument was overheard by those outside the door. Outcast, along with Ace and Scout who had come with them, exchanged bewildered glances.
Was our subsequent team leader one of them?
Neither of them seems very reliable.
Theresa said with a hint of helplessness, "Although Su Rui is a bit willful, his abilities are beyond question."
However, even Theresa felt that the current situation was somewhat Tai He.
By sheer coincidence, this white demon king reached out and used his own strength to forcefully pry open the automatic door.
Accompanied by the crackling noise of the electrical control mechanism being pried open, Su Rui was startled and stared wide-eyed at Theresa, who pushed open the door and walked in.
"Wow, I didn't expect you to do that."
Theresa stared at Wis'adel and Su Rui was perched on Wis'adel's shoulders, and asked in surprise, "What are you doing?"
Theresa entered the room, and Outcast and the others followed, seeing the rather odd combination of Su Rui and Wis'adel.
"It's nothing, Your Highness. I just noticed that Su Rui seems to be very light; I could lift him up with one hand."
As she spoke, Wis'adel deliberately showed off her strength.
Su Rui grabbed her by the corner and shook her impatiently. "Put me down right now!"
At this moment, in front of Theresa, Wis'adel dared not be presumptuous. He obediently raised his hand, grabbed Su Rui's waist, and then put Su Rui on the ground from her shoulder.
Once on the ground, Su Rui coughed lightly to ease his embarrassment, glanced at the team he had chosen, and nodded to them.
"Next, let me introduce our mission..."
As Su Rui began to speak, the projector on the conference room screen lit up, the lights automatically turned off, and Su Rui displayed the terrain map of the first mission objective from all sides, giving a brief explanation.
"This is our plan. How much time do you need to prepare? We'll depart no later than tomorrow."
The others had no objections; after listening to Su Rui's detailed plan and more detailed intelligence, they all nodded in agreement.
Only Outcast, the Sankta, looked Su Rui up and down with some suspicion. "I have a feeling I recognize you. Perhaps we've met before?"
"I've definitely never seen him before, but I do know Sankta quite well. Maybe we can talk about him later."
Su Rui nodded to Outcast, and after receiving a response, made a decision:
"Then we'll set off tonight. You can go and prepare. Outcast, don't worry about concealment; I'll take care of that."
As he spoke, Su Rui waved to his men, "Then, we'll meet here again tonight. You can go and make your preparations."
After Su Rui explained the mission, the team members had no further questions. They stood up, greeted each other, and then turned and left the meeting room.
Wis'adel glanced at Su Rui, seemingly wanting to say something, but Theresa smiled and stood behind Su Rui, gently pressing Su Rui shoulder.
"Su Rui, since we don't have any plans for the rest of the time, how about I show you around the Babel? Is there anything else in Wis'adel?"
Faced with Theresa's smile, Wis'adel was speechless for a moment, nodded somewhat awkwardly, and forced a smile in return.
"It's nothing, I won't bother you any longer, I'll be going now~"
Wis'adel left looking somewhat lost, and even Su Rui could tell that she had something left unsaid.
Watching the automatic door gradually close, Su Rui leaned her head back into Theresa's arms. Since she was already so close, and the penguin had no sense of boundaries and put his hand on her shoulder, what was wrong with letting her lean on him for a bit?
"Wis'adel seems to have something to say. Your behavior just now was a bit cold-hearted, Your Highness Theresa."
Su Rui emphasized her pronunciation and teased Theresa, but received no response. Theresa simply smiled and reached out to pinch Su Rui's cheek.
Even though Su Rui possesses Scanning Vision, which the Doctor describes as an exceptional intelligence-gathering ability, Theresa has abilities that Su Rui lacks, such as mind reading.
Although Su Rui's inner thoughts and memories are completely invisible to Theresa, figuring out what Wis'adel is thinking is still quite easy.
"Wis'adel isn't thinking about me, maybe he's thinking about you?"
"She can't possibly be interested in someone she just had an argument with and almost came to blows with, can she?"
Su Rui didn't argue with Theresa, but instead stood up straight. "Alright, what are we going to do next?"
"I have something I'd like to Su Rui you for a favor."
As Theresa spoke, she led Su Rui into the corridor of Rhodes Island.
Rhodes Island was only recently brought back from Rim Billiton, but Su Rui arrived here a little later; Rhodes Island was already here when she came.
However, the Rhodes Island Landship that Babel had just acquired still had many problems.
The circuitry was difficult to understand, and many parts of it needed repair, including the location of the Rhodes Island automatic door that Theresa had brought Su Rui to.
"So, when you said you needed help, you meant this automatic door with a malfunctioning circuit?"
Su Rui looked at Theresa with some doubt. "First of all, of course I can solve this problem. Secondly, hasn't someone already solved it?"
As Su Rui spoke, she and Theresa looked at the black-haired Bloodfiend who was still fiddling with the circuitry. Her name was Closure, and according to the information Su Rui had gathered, she was a Bloodfiend with almost no combat power.
"Closure isn't very familiar with Rhodes Island's circuitry either, so I thought it would be great to get your help, Su Rui. I'll help out too."
Theresa smiled and gently pushed Su Rui towards Closure, greeting her:
"Closure, I've brought some help."
"Hmm? Your Highness! I can manage on my own, just wait a little longer..."
Prince of Kazdel: A flower blooming from 308 Originium?!
Su Rui glanced at Closure was still stubbornly arguing, and couldn't help but purse her lips:
"Come on, you've been staring at that Dainoru Node for half an hour and still haven't come up with a solution."
"How did you know?" Closure looked surprised, then turned her head and saw Su Rui, pausing for a moment before a slight blush crept onto her cheeks.
Then, Closure turned her gaze to Theresa: "Your Highness, is this the helper you mentioned? Although he seems a bit arrogant, I will help him become a qualified engineer!"
"Thank you, but I have no intention of becoming an engineer."
As Su Rui spoke, she came to Closure's side. Just as Closure stood there blankly, looking at Su Rui with a slightly flushed face, not knowing what to do, Su Rui reached out and placed her hand on Closure's shoulder.
"Yes, is there something you need?" Closure as she looked at the handsome young man named Su Rui in front of her, glancing nervously at Theresa beside her, still unable to suppress her excitement.
Then, Su Rui gently pushed Closure aside.
Perhaps because Closure somewhat distracted at the moment, or perhaps because of a lack of training, in any case, moving Closure away didn't require much effort from Su Rui.
Then, to Closure's astonishment, Su Rui sat down to examine the circuit structure, manipulated it with tools for a few moments, and reassembled the circuit that Closure had disassembled. She then stood up and knocked on the automatic door.
"Alright, the door is fixed now... I'll send you a reference book later. After reading it, you should be able to solve most of Rhodes Island's problems."
Then Su Rui turned her gaze back to Theresa, urging her to hurry to the next place.
Theresa glanced at Closure at Su Rui with great anticipation, and smiled apologetically at her:
"I'm sorry Closure, Su Rui and I have some things to do next, so we won't bother you any longer."
"Haha, it's alright, Your Highness and Su Rui, please take care~"
Closure's eyes betrayed her undisguised dejection, but she still forced a smile as she said goodbye to Su Rui and Theresa.
"There will be many more opportunities to spend time with Su Rui later, don't worry, Closure," Theresa gently comforted Closure.
Su Rui glanced at Kroos's pitiful look Closure, "I've sent the information to your personal terminal. Remember to check it, and then you can fix these problems on Rhodes Island in time. Or, if you prefer to learn while fixing them, the table of contents is very detailed."
After greeting Closure, Theresa led Su Rui away from Closure and continued along the corridor of Rhodes Island.
However, Theresa didn't seem to intend to take Su Rui to meet anyone next. Instead, she led Su Rui to a desolate place where there were hardly any people.
"... You seem to have something to say."
Su Rui looked around. This desolate, empty, and atmospheric place was usually used in movies for playing duos or having heart-to-heart talks, where one of the two would die, or both would die.
While there are instances where both individuals survive, the forced "dumpling-making" scenarios are sometimes not very interesting.
So Su Rui focused her attention on Theresa, waiting for her to speak.
"Su Rui, you and the Doctor are both from Previous Civilization, right? Kal'tsit and the Doctor have both told me some information. The Doctor is special, and Su Rui, your existence is even more special."
"I'm not surprised by this." Su Rui nodded, leaning against a large rock, looking at Theresa, who had her back to him. Her white dress was beautiful and suited Theresa's gentle personality.
"After all, you possess the crown that originally belonged to Kal'tsit. Unfortunately, you stole a portion of its power, but what truly belonged to Kal'tsit cannot be taken away."
"Are you hostile towards me, Su Rui? Yes, you are, you and Kal'tsit are so close, but please believe me, I have my reasons for doing this."
As Theresa spoke, she turned her head slightly to the side. Unfortunately, from this angle, she couldn't see Su Rui, but Su Rui could see her cheek.
"I convinced Kal'tsit to be my friend, my partner, so I thought, maybe I can convince you too? I want to make this world a better place... so I want to invite you to truly embark on the same path as me."
"Your idea is good, but to be honest, I'm not sure if I can help you."
Su Rui shrugged. After all, his physical body might disappear at any time, and even if he agreed, he might not be able to help much.
Although she didn't make any boastful claims, Su Rui's attitude at least showed Theresa that her eyes lit up, but she still kept her back to Su Rui, only saying in a surprised tone:
"So, Su Rui, you're willing to help?"
"Yes, I'm willing to help." Anyway, I definitely won't let humans suffer any losses.
Su Rui also has her own little plan, though she doesn't know if it will conflict with Priestess' or the Doctor's plans. But if they fail, then Su Rui will have to start her own show.
As for now, as long as there is no conflict of interest, Su Rui doesn't mind helping out a little.
"In that case, I have a gift I'd like to give to Su Rui."
Theresa's tone sounded very happy, even like the joyful excitement of a girl experiencing her first love.
Su Rui couldn't help but raise her head curiously and look at Theresa.
Then, Su Rui sensed something was wrong; the surrounding Originium seemed to have changed, so much so that it didn't require Scanning Vision to observe.
