Ark Simulator, Am I Not Without a Physical Form? Chapter 300
After a moment, Swire suddenly chuckled softly, "Alright, you win tonight." She stood up, gracefully adjusting her skirt, "But—" She leaned down, her red lips close to Su Rui's ear, and whispered in a voice only he could hear, "Next time, you won't be able to escape so easily."
After saying that, she straightened up, winked at Lin Yuhsia, and turned to walk towards the bar.
Chen Hui-chieh also stood up, glanced silently at Su Rui, the dragon's tail lightly brushing against his calf, and then left with Swire.
Su Rui breathed a sigh of relief, looked down at Lin Yuhsia in his arms, and said helplessly, "Satisfied now?"
Lin Yuhsia gave a soft snort and poked his chest with her fingertip, "Barely."
He chuckled softly, then suddenly lowered his head and kissed her lips, deepening the kiss in the moment she was stunned, until she was breathless before he released her.
"However—" he pressed his forehead against hers, his voice low, "Mr. Lin, shouldn't you make it up to me?"
Lin Yuhsia narrowed her eyes. "Oh? What kind of compensation do you want?"
The automatic curtains in the Swire Private Suite slowly closed, shutting out the dazzling night view of Dossoles. The light from the crystal chandelier was dimmed to an ambiguous warm yellow, casting interlaced shadows on the carpet. Su Rui sank into the leather sofa, his sapphire cufflinks gleaming under the light—the "ownership mark" that Lin Yuhsia had personally placed on him that morning.
"Is it too late to run now?" He laughed and leaned back, resting his head on the sofa back, his Adam's apple bobbing gently as he spoke.
Four shadows loomed over us from different directions.
Lin Yuhsia's fingertips first touched his chin, her nails, scented with rose essential oil, gently scraping his Adam's apple. "Guess?" She straddled his lap, the skin exposed by the slit of her cheongsam pressed against his knee.
Chen Hui-chieh's dragon tail had somehow wrapped around his wrist, the scales brushing against his skin with a subtle sensation. As she looked down, the ends of her hair brushed against Su Rui's ear. "Last time at the dock..." her voice was three octaves lower than usual, "... you said you'd make up for that glass of wine I had..."
Hoshiguma leaned over from behind the sofa, the warmth of her Oni Clan body seeping through his shirt onto his back. "Kid, I heard you can hold your liquor?" The whiskey ice cubes she was holding jingled.
Swire final appearance, the tip of her high heel lifting Su Rui's chin. "I bet he can't last three drinks." Her golden eyes shone like melting honey under the lights. "The loser..." her red lips brushed against his earlobe, "Has to grant the winner one request."
Su Rui's breathing became erratic. He tried to shrink back, but Hoshiguma pressed down on his shoulder. "That's foul... four against one?"
Lin Yuhsia unbuttoned his first button. "This is punishment." As she leaned over, the necklace pendant slipped into his collar, the metal feeling cold against his collarbone. "Who told you to..."
"She always has a smile on her face," Chen Hui-chieh added, her canine teeth barely visible.
"And they even collect room keys indiscriminately," Hoshiguma added, her thumb brushing against his lips.
"The worst part is—" Swire suddenly bit his earlobe, "That he's so delicious."
As the rich aroma of whiskey lingered on his lips and teeth, Su Rui vaguely thought that this was probably the only situation he had overlooked in his intelligence career—being marked as Dossoles' most expensive trophy of the night by four women with completely different scents, body temperatures, and bite marks.
Morning light seeped in through the gaps in the curtains, like a thin blade cutting a golden gash in the dim bedroom. When Su Rui opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was an arm across his chest—fair, slender, with traces of rose-colored nail polish from the night before still on its nails.
Lin Yuhsia's.
He blinked and tried to move his body, only to find that his waist was being pressed down by another strong leg, with faint red scratches visible on his wheat-colored skin.
Hoshiguma's.
His left arm was being held tightly in someone's arms, the soft touch pressed against his elbow. Chen Hui-chieh's dragon tail had somehow wrapped around his calf, its scales gleaming with a slightly cold light in the morning.
As for Swire--
Su Rui turned his head slightly and found that the young lady was resting her head on his lap, her long golden hair spread out loosely, her breathing even, and a satisfied smile on her lips, as if she was having a sweet dream.
How did she end up sleeping like that?
He tried to pull his arm away, immediately eliciting a soft, disgruntled snort. Lin Yuhsia tickled his chest with her fingertips, without even opening her eyes. "Don't move..."
Su Rui took a deep breath and carefully lifted Hoshiguma's leg, trying to extricate himself from the chaos. However, as soon as he moved an inch, Chen Hui-chieh's tail suddenly tightened, holding him firmly in place.
"Just five more minutes..." she mumbled, nuzzling her cheek against his shoulder.
Su Rui froze.
The sunlight grew stronger, and the temperature in the room began to rise. He could feel sweat trickling down his back, and the warmth of the four women enveloped him like a heater, making it almost impossible for him to breathe.
No, I have to escape, or I'll suffocate.
He gritted his teeth, then suddenly exerted force, forcefully breaking free from the crowd. Lin Yuhsia's arm missed its target and landed on Hoshiguma's stomach, who groaned and groggily opened his eyes. "... Hmm?"
Chen Hui-chieh's tail twitched in the air, but she didn't touch anyone, and her brows furrowed. Swire, having lost her pillow, slammed her head against the sofa with a "thud," finally waking up.
"Su Rui...?" She rubbed her eyes, her voice hoarse from the early morning.
But Su Rui was no longer there.
The bathroom door slammed shut, followed by the sound of running water. The four women looked at each other, finally fully waking up.
Lin Yuhsia slowly sat up, glanced in the direction of the bathroom, and a meaningful smile appeared on her lips, "You ran fast."
Hoshiguma yawned and rubbed her sore stomach. "You little brat, you've got good stamina. After all that last night, you're still up so early today."
Chen Hui-chieh silently retracted her tail, her ear tips slightly red. "... I'll go make breakfast."
Swire stretched, her golden hair shimmering in the sunlight. "Bet he'll come out within ten minutes?"
Lin Yuhsia chuckled, picked up the shirt Su Rui had dropped from the sofa, and slowly put it on. "I bet five minutes."
"--And it makes me blush."
In the bathroom, Su Rui, who was brushing her teeth in front of the mirror, suddenly sneezed.
I have a feeling that something terrible is about to happen.
Volume 11, Chapter 665: I'm just cooking.
The moment the bathroom door was pushed open, steam billowed out like clouds. Su Rui was shirtless, a towel casually draped over her wet hair. Water droplets slid down her neck, lingered briefly at the hollow of her collarbone, and continued downwards, eventually disappearing into the edge of the towel around her waist.
He took a step, then froze in place.
--On the sofa, four women sat in a neat row, their eyes fixed intently on him.
Lin Yuhsia leaned lazily against the cushions, his shirt loosely draped over her shoulders, the collar wide open, revealing a section of her snow-white shoulder. Her fingertips were twirling around the buttons on the shirt cuffs, a faint smile playing on her lips, but her eyes were like those of a feline locking onto its prey.
Chen Hui-chieh sat upright, her hands folded on her knees, her dragon tail quietly coiled at her feet. At first glance, she appeared calm and composed—if one ignored her slightly reddened earlobes and her gaze fixed on his abs.
Swire crossed her legs, holding a steaming cup of black tea with a half-lipstick stain on the rim. Her gaze slid down from Su Rui's dripping hair, finally settling on the edge of the bath towel. Her golden eyes narrowed, as if assessing some rare treasure.
And Hoshiguma...
Hoshiguma whistled.
"Wow, nice figure." She grinned, her canine teeth gleaming dangerously. "I couldn't see clearly last night in the dark, but now I can finally—"
" --Hoshiguma." Chen Hui-chieh suddenly interrupted, her voice half an octave higher than usual.
Su Rui's Adam's apple bobbed.
He instinctively gripped the towel, water droplets flicking from his hair and splashing onto the floor, leaving dark marks. The air was filled with the minty scent of shampoo and a subtle tension that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.
"You..." He cleared his throat, trying to make his voice sound less dry, "... what are you looking at?"
Lin Yuhsia chuckled softly and finally spoke, "Look at you." She tilted her head, her black hair slipping down her shoulder. "What, are you shy?"
Her tone was light and airy, with a rising intonation at the end, carrying a certain languidness after satisfaction. Su Rui's ears instantly burned, and certain scenes from last night uncontrollably flashed back into his mind— Lin Yuhsia biting his shoulder with her teeth, Chen Hui-chieh's tail wrapped around his waist, Swire's panting breath against his ear, Hoshiguma's grip on his wrist...
"I..." He opened his mouth, but suddenly felt his mouth was dry.
Swire put down her teacup, the porcelain cup clinking against the tray with a crisp "ding". She stood up, her high heels clicking almost silently on the carpet, yet causing Su Rui to unconsciously take a half-step back.
"Why are you hiding?" She reached out and picked up a drop of water from his shoulder; her fingertips were warm. "It wasn't like this last night."
Her perfume wafted towards him, an expensive blend of rose and citrus, sweet with a thorn. Su Rui's breath hitched, his back pressed against the wall. The cold marble made him shiver, and Swire was still closing in on him—
"Alright."
Chen Hui-chieh's voice suddenly interrupted, and at the same time, a dragon's tail appeared between the two, its tip lightly poking Swire's side. Swire clicked her tongue and reluctantly took a half step back.
"Put your clothes on first." Chen Hui-chieh walked over unnoticed, holding a set of neatly folded clothes—the very clothes Su Rui had worn yesterday. Her gaze lingered restrainedly above his collarbone, but the slight trembling of her fingertips as she handed him the clothes betrayed something.
Su Rui felt as if she had been granted a pardon, and grabbed her clothes, saying, "Thank you."
He turned to run back to the bathroom, but Hoshiguma's long legs blocked his way.
"What's the rush?" the Oni Clan woman chuckled mischievously. "Just change here."
Lin Yuhsia had somehow joined in, twirling a strand of her hair between her fingers. "Exactly, you saw everything you should and shouldn't have last night, so why are you pretending to be innocent now?"
Su Rui: "..." So what? How can that be the same? Do you believe I'll withdraw my consent?!
His face was flushed red to the roots of his neck, and his knuckles were white as he gripped his clothes. Chen Hui-chieh seemed unable to bear it any longer; with a flick of her tail, she pushed Hoshiguma and Lin Yuhsia away. "Stop fooling around."
Taking advantage of the moment, Su Rui rushed back to the bathroom, slammed the door shut with a loud bang, and the lock clicked shut.
Laughter came from outside the door— Lin Yuhsia's flippancy, Hoshiguma's cheerfulness, Swire's elegance, and Chen Hui-chieh's suppressed cough.
Su Rui leaned against the door, slowly slid down to sit on the floor, and buried her burning face in her palms.
... I can't live like this anymore.
Morning light streamed into the kitchen through the floor-to-ceiling windows, where Swire's ingredients were neatly arranged on the marble countertop: fresh salmon, freshly picked asparagus, strawberries still glistening with dew, and a basket of baguettes exuding the aroma of wheat. Su Rui stood at the counter, wearing a dark blue apron with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing his well-defined forearms. Just as he picked up a kitchen knife, a soft, warm body pressed against him from behind.
"The knife is very sharp, be careful." Lin Yuhsia rested her chin on his shoulder, her breath brushing against his ear. Her fingers moved up to the back of his hand, seemingly teaching him the correct way to hold the knife, but in reality, her fingertips were ambiguously caressing his knuckles.
Su Rui's Adam's apple bobbed. "Boss Lin, I can't chop vegetables like this."
"Really?" She chuckled, not letting go but pressing even closer. "I think you cut it quite well."
The salmon on the cutting board was perfectly sliced into thin pieces, but Su Rui's attention was completely off the knife skills— Lin Yuhsia's chest was pressed against his back, and through the thin fabric, he could clearly feel her heartbeat.
"Need any help?" Swire's voice came from the right. She had somehow gotten closer, her long golden hair brushing against Su Rui's arm, carrying a faint scent of roses. She held a bowl of beaten eggs, a little yolk on her fingertip, which she deliberately rubbed onto Su Rui's lips. "Oops, I got some."
Her thumb traced the lips of Su Rui, the movement as gentle as polishing precious porcelain. Su Rui froze, the tip of the knife nearly piercing her finger.
"Be careful." Chen Hui-chieh suddenly appeared to his left, her dragon tail gently wrapping around his wrist and pulling the kitchen knife from his hand. "Let me cut it."
Her tone was calm, but the tips of her ears were tinged with a faint pink. As she took the knife, her fingertips inadvertently brushed against Su Rui's palm, causing a subtle shiver.
"Then I'll take care of the seasoning~" Hoshiguma wrapped her arms around Su Rui's waist from behind, resting her chin on his shoulder. She held a grinder in her hand, sprinkling black peppercorns onto the fish, but her attention was clearly not on the cooking. "Su Rui, you smell so good, what shower gel are you using?"
Her nose brushed against Su Rui's neck, her breath hot. Su Rui's ears instantly turned bright red, and she almost dropped the spatula in her hand.
"You guys..." His voice was a little strained, "I can't cook like this."
"How could that be?" Lin Yuhsia peeked out from behind him, pointing at the ingredients on the counter. "The salmon is already cut, the eggs are beaten, and even the seasoning is done." She tilted her head, her black hair brushing against his cheek. "All that's left is to fry it."
Volume 11, Chapter 666: My cooking skills are still pretty good.
"Could you... step back a little?" Su Rui pleaded helplessly.
The four exchanged a glance, and instead of backing away, they moved even closer.
"The heat is very important." Swire grasped his hand holding the spatula, guiding his movements in circles across the pan. "You have to flip it slowly like this to get a perfect golden brown."
Her chest pressed against his arm, her body heat seeping through the fabric. Su Rui's wrist trembled slightly, and the egg mixture in the pan almost spilled over.
"Stay steady." Chen Hui-chieh's tail wrapped around his waist, helping him regain his balance. "Don't be nervous."
Her voice remained calm, but Su Rui could feel the tip of her tail fidgeting around his waist.
"Let me try it." Hoshiguma suddenly leaned over and took a bite of the half-cooked fried egg from the spatula in Su Rui's hand. "Hmm~ not bad, but something's missing."
She licked her lips, then suddenly reached out and smeared some honey on Su Rui's lips. "Want to try this?"
Before Su Rui could react, Lin Yuhsia had already turned his face towards her, gently licking away the drop of honey with the tip of her tongue. "It really is sweet."
Her eyes stared straight into his, a sly smile playing on them. Su Rui's mind went blank for a moment, and the spatula clattered onto the stove.
"Looks like breakfast will have to be delayed." Swire, twirling a strand of Su Rui's hair between her fingers.
"How about we eat something else first?" Hoshiguma suggested meaningfully.
Chen Hui-chieh tightened her tail, pulling Su Rui towards her. "I agree."
Surrounded by four people, with the kitchen counter behind her, Su Rui had nowhere to retreat. Morning light streamed through the window, bathing them in a warm golden glow. The kitchen was filled with the aroma of food, but no one cared about the eggs that were about to burn.
"You..." Su Rui's voice was a little hoarse, "Was this all planned in advance?"
Lin Yuhsia tiptoed and whispered in his ear, "What do you think?"
Her lips almost touched his earlobe, her breath hot. Su Rui closed his eyes, completely giving up resistance.
--This breakfast will probably turn into brunch.
After finally preparing breakfast, Su Rui slowly cut open the soft-boiled egg on the plate, the golden egg yolk slowly flowing onto the crispy bacon. He forked a piece of bacon coated in egg yolk and put it in his mouth, the aroma of the fat immediately spreading in his mouth.
"Meat is definitely the best." Su Rui squinted his eyes in satisfaction, picked up his bone china coffee cup, and took a sip. The bitterness of the black coffee perfectly neutralized the greasiness of the bacon, making him unable to resist taking several more slices.
Lin Yuhsia sat to his right, spreading strawberry jam on toast with her rose-colored nail polished fingers. Hearing Su Rui's sigh, she raised an eyebrow and looked over. "You used up so much energy last night, you should replenish yourself." Her gaze swept meaningfully over Su Rui's collar, where there were still a few suspicious red marks.
Su Rui paused, his fork twitching slightly, his ears burning. He pretended not to understand and turned to look at the kitchen counter in the center of the table— Swire was elegantly slicing smoked salmon there, the blade gliding smoothly between the fish pieces.
"Specially prepared Angus steak and bacon." Swire arranged the salmon slices into a rose shape, looked up at Su Rui and winked. "I knew you'd like this." She pushed a small silver condiment bottle towards her. "Try this truffle salt? It's air-freighted from Victoria."
