Your waist is shaking.

Jessica then realized that her inner thighs were indeed incredibly sore. She suddenly remembered the image of herself riding on Su Rui's waist last night, and her whole body turned bright red. "It's... it's all your fault...!"

Su Rui chuckled and tucked her back into bed, "Get some sleep."

As the blanket was carefully tucked in, Jessica suddenly grabbed his fingers. "Su Rui!"

"Um?"

"... I'll be gentler next time!" she said, then burrowed into bed like an ostrich.

Su Rui stood by the bed for two seconds, then suddenly picked up the entire blanket, including herself, and shook her. "Jessica."

"W-What are you doing!" A muffled voice came from inside the blanket.

"What I like..." he nibbled at her burning earlobe through the blanket, "... is your shameless behavior."

"I'm not shameless!" Jessica said, somewhat disgruntled, then glanced at Su Rui before shrinking back shyly.

Volume 14, Chapter 776: A Sudden Appearance

As morning light streamed into the kitchen through the sheer curtains, Jessica was tiptoeing to reach the honey jar on the top shelf of the cupboard. The straps of her nightgown had slipped down to her arms, revealing large expanses of her fair skin, with a few faint red marks on it.

"I can't reach it..." she muttered to herself, her tail wagging anxiously from side to side.

A pair of hands suddenly wrapped around her from behind and easily took the jar. Su Rui's chin rested on the top of her head, her breath brushing against her sensitive cat ears. "Want this?"

"Mmm, mmm!" Jessica's ears twitched. As she took the jar, her fingertips accidentally brushed against his wrist, and she recoiled as if burned. "Th-thank you..."

Su Rui didn't immediately back away, but instead kept her in that position in front of the kitchen counter. His chest was pressed against her back, and through two thin layers of clothing, Jessica could clearly feel his steady heartbeat.

"The muffins are going to burn," he suddenly said.

"Ah!" Jessica turned around in a panic, almost bumping into him. The pancakes on the stove had indeed started to smoke, and she hurriedly went to turn off the fire, but her tail accidentally brushed against Su Rui's waist and abdomen.

Su Rui hissed softly and grabbed the base of her wagging tail, "Stop fooling around."

"I... I didn't mean to!" Jessica blushed as she protested, but then she saw Su Rui's lips curl into a slight smile—he was clearly teasing her.

Breakfast was eventually finished in a kind of sweet chaos. Jessica hid the burnt muffins at the bottom of the plate, carefully arranging a few barely intact slices on top. As Su Rui took the plate, her fingertips gently caressed the back of Jessica's hand.

"Delicious." He took a bite of the burnt edges of the muffin and commented without changing his expression.

Jessica cupped her face in her hands as she watched him chew, and suddenly noticed a small tooth mark on Su Rui's Adam's apple. Memories of last night flooded back—the image of her straddling his lap, nibbling and biting at that protrusion, made her curl her toes in embarrassment.

"What's wrong?" Su Rui noticed her face suddenly turning red.

"N-nothing!" Jessica gulped down a mouthful of milk, which made her cough and choke.

Su Rui went behind her and gently patted her back. This position forced him to bend over, his chin almost resting on her shoulder. Jessica could smell the faint minty scent on him—the lingering scent from when they shared a tube of toothpaste that morning.

"Slow down." His voice was hoarse from the early morning, making her eardrums itch.

Jessica shrank back, then suddenly turned and buried her face in his chest. "Su Rui..."

"Um?"

"... I like you."

These words were like a pebble thrown into a calm lake. Su Rui's breath hitched for a moment, then Jessica felt her chin being lifted and a honey-sweet kiss land on her lips.

The muffins were completely cold, but who cares?

By the sunniest bay window, Jessica nestled in Su Rui's arms, flipping through a photo album. This was one of the "must-do couple lessons" she insisted on doing—sharing childhood photos.

"This is me when I was six!" she exclaimed excitedly, pointing to a faded photograph. In the picture, little Feline was holding a life-sized model sniper rifle, grinning and revealing her two little fangs. "I decided then and there that I wanted to be a sniper!"

Su Rui's fingertips gently traced the edge of the photo. "Very cute."

"Isn't it cute now?" Jessica suddenly turned around, her nose almost hitting his chin.

Su Rui looked down at her, sunlight casting dappled shadows beneath his eyelashes. "Now..." He suddenly lowered his head and bit her earlobe, "It's alluring."

Jessica let out a soft "woof" and curled up into a ball, the photo album falling to the ground with a "thud." Su Rui chuckled as she went to pick it up, but Jessica pounced on her and knocked her down onto the cushion.

"A sneak attack!" she said triumphantly, straddling his waist, but then froze belatedly when she saw Su Rui's suddenly darkening eyes. The position was all too familiar—the crazy memories of last night instantly flooded back.

Su Rui placed her hand on her lower back. "Continue?"

"No, no!" Jessica scrambled to her feet, but he grabbed her ankle and pulled her back into his arms.

The curtains on the bay window fluttered in the wind, and sunlight streamed across the intertwined figures of the two. The photo album lay quietly on the wooden floor, and on the open page, six-year-old Jessica held a toy gun, her smile as radiant as the Firstborn sun.

As the afternoon sun slanted into the bathroom at three o'clock, Jessica was looking in the mirror, troubled by pressing down her upturned ahoge (cowlick).

"It's all Su Rui's fault..." she complained softly, trying to smooth down the unruly tuft of hair with water. He had ruffled it too roughly last night, and now it was impossible to comb it neatly.

The bathroom door was suddenly pushed open, and Su Rui walked in with a hairdryer. "Hair."

"I... I can do it myself!" Jessica hurriedly reached for him, but he avoided her.

A warm breeze brushed against her head as Su Rui's fingers ran through her hair, his movements as gentle as if he were handling something fragile. Jessica peeked at his focused profile in the mirror and noticed that even when he was blow-drying her hair, he had that same serious expression he had when he was sniping.

"Turn around."

Jessica obediently turned around to face him. From this angle, she could see the scratch marks she had left on his collarbone, faintly visible through the collar of his white bathrobe.

The hairdryer suddenly stopped buzzing. Su Rui pinched her chin. "What are you looking at?"

"No, no!" Jessica's eyes darted around, but her fingers unconsciously traced the red marks. "... Does it hurt?"

Su Rui suddenly bent down, his nose touching hers. "Why don't you try?"

The afternoon sun lazily spilled onto the living room carpet. Jessica was lying on the sofa, swinging her two fair toes, painting Su Rui's nails.

"Don't move," she said, gently stroking Su Rui's fingertips with a small brush, "It'll be done soon."

Su Rui leaned back on the sofa cushions, staring blankly at his pale pink nail polish. His other hand was pinned to his knee by Jessica, rendering him immobile.

"Why pink?" he asked.

Jessica looked up, her eyes sparkling. "Because it's cute!" She waved her own fingers, which were also painted pink. "Look, just like mine!"

Su Rui was silent for a moment, then suddenly reached out and ruffled her hair. "Whatever you like."

Jessica wagged her tail happily and continued applying the product with focused concentration. Sunlight filtered through her hair, casting dappled patterns on the back of Su Rui's hand. Su Rui looked down at Jessica's slightly pursed lips and her eyelashes, which trembled gently with concentration.

As evening fell, a rich aroma of butter wafted from the kitchen. Jessica stood on tiptoe, trying to take the freshly baked cookies out of the oven.

"Be careful, it's hot." Su Rui's voice came from behind him. He placed his palm on hers and steadily took the baking tray.

As Jessica turned around, her nose accidentally brushed against his chin, tickling him. She looked up at Su Rui carefully examining the cookies, then suddenly reached out and poked his cheek. "Su Rui, want to try some?"

Su Rui lowered her head and took a bite of the cookie Suri offered, her tongue inadvertently brushing against Suri's fingertips. Jessica recoiled as if burned, her ears instantly turning bright red.

"Is it good?" she asked softly.

Su Rui didn't answer, but instead leaned down and kissed her lips. "Sweet."

Jessica blushed and pushed him away. "I... I was asking about the cookies!"

"Yes," Su Rui said without changing her expression, "The cookies too."

Volume 14, chapter 777ai, was secretly altered, wasn't it?

The exhaust system of the underground shooting range emitted a slight hum. Su Rui adjusted the scope of the Rapid-Fire Gun, his slender fingers sliding deftly across the metal parts. Jessica leaned against the door frame, toying with a silver pistol in her hand, but her gaze remained fixed on Su Rui.

"Is the trigger pull on this gun adjusted?" Su Rui asked without looking up.

Jessica blinked, pretending not to hear. She deliberately twirled the gun in a dangerous circle on her fingertip, then "accidentally" dropped it to the ground.

"Oops!"

The crisp sound of metal striking the ground made Su Rui immediately look up. He strode over and knelt down to check the condition of the pistol. Jessica took the opportunity to lean down, her hair brushing against his cheek.

"It seems to be stuck..." she said deliberately in a troubled tone, while quietly leaning closer.

After checking the weapons, Su Rui looked up and their noses almost touched. Their breaths mingled as they were so close, and Jessica could smell the faint scent of gunpowder and aftershave on him.

"The gun is fine." Su Rui's voice was a few decibels lower than usual. "You threw it on purpose."

Caught out, Jessica stuck out her tongue. Instead of backing down, she leaned in even closer. "Then can you teach me how to use Rapid-Fire Gun? Like... a step-by-step guide?"

Su Rui's Adam's apple bobbed almost imperceptibly. He stood up and pulled Jessica up with him. "Your pistol shooting grade is A+."

"But Rapid-Fire Gun is different!" Jessica tugged at his sleeve and shook it. "The recoil is so strong, what if you hurt your wrist?"

This reason was clearly untenable— Jessica could easily subdue two adult men with one hand. But Su Rui still sighed and took out his Rapid-Fire Gun, handing it to her.

"Standing posture," he instructed briefly.

Jessica immediately jumped for joy like a child who had received a new toy. She awkwardly hugged the weapon, which was a bit heavy for her, and deliberately struck an exaggerated, unorthodox pose.

"Like this?" she asked, tilting her head, her eyes fixed on Su Rui's reaction.

Su Rui frowned and walked in, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Stand up straight." His hands slid down her arms, adjusting the angle of her elbows, "Shift your weight forward."

Jessica could feel his chest almost pressed against her back, his breath brushing against her earlobe. She deliberately let her wrists go weak, the muzzle of the gun twitching dangerously.

"I can't hold it steady..." she complained softly, her voice carrying a clear hint of coquetry.

Su Rui paused for a second, then wrapped his arms around her completely from behind, placing his hands on hers. This position brought Jessica's back pressed against his chest, and she could even feel his steady heartbeat.

"Focus," Su Rui's voice rang in her ear, her warm breath making her ears burn. "Aim at the target."

Jessica was indeed looking at the crosshair—through the full-length mirror in front of her. Su Rui in the mirror had his head slightly lowered, his focused expression making his sharply defined profile particularly captivating. She couldn't help but lean back slightly, getting closer to him.

"Bang!"

The first shot fired, and the recoil threw Jessica backward, landing her squarely in Su Rui's arms. She felt the arms around her tighten instantly.

"Was it intentional?" Su Rui asked in a low voice, her tone carrying a dangerous undertone.

Jessica turned her head, her nose almost touching his chin. "What if I said yes?"

The air suddenly felt thick. Su Rui's deep eyes were fixed on her, and Jessica could see her small reflection. Just when she thought he was about to kiss her, Su Rui suddenly released her.

"Combat training." He turned and walked towards the weapons rack, his voice regaining its usual calm. "You said you wanted to check my combat skills."

Jessica paused for a second, then broke into a triumphant smile. She jogged after him. "Now?"

"Now."

The training room floor mat still bore traces of the last incident. Jessica flexed her wrists, her eyes fixed on Su Rui, who was taking off his coat. His black shirt accentuated his lean waist, and she noticed that he was moving a little slower than usual.

"Rules?" Su Rui asked.

Jessica tilted her head and thought for a moment, "Until one side concedes?"

"Can."

Before she finished speaking, Jessica lunged forward. Her movements were so fast they were almost blurry, but Su Rui seemed to have anticipated it, dodging to the side and grabbing Jessica's wrist at the same time.

Jessica turned around, using the momentum to try and throw him away. But Su Rui suddenly let go, causing her to stumble.

"You let me off the hook!" she accused angrily.

Su Rui stood two steps away, a faint smile playing on her lips, "This is tactical."

Jessica narrowed her eyes and suddenly changed her strategy. Instead of using skillful moves, she lunged at Su Rui. This haphazard movement was clearly unexpected, and Su Rui was knocked back several steps, her back hitting the wall.

"Got you?" Jessica said triumphantly, her hands braced against the wall beside his ears.

Su Rui didn't try to break free. He looked down at Jessica, who was so close to him, and his breathing became noticeably heavy. The lights in the training room cast shadows on his deep-set eyes, and Jessica could see the curve of each of his eyelashes.

"Is this also a tactic?" he asked softly.

Jessica didn't answer. She slowly leaned in until she could feel the other person's breath brushing against her lips. Just as their lips were about to touch, the training room door was suddenly pushed open.

"Miss, your--" The butler robot slid in, its electronic eyes turning into two exclamation marks the moment it saw the scene. "I didn't see anything!" It quickly backed away, thoughtfully closing the door behind it.

Jessica rested her head on Su Rui's shoulder in frustration. "This is the second time today..."

Su Rui gently stroked the back of her head. "We can continue."

"No." Jessica looked up, her eyes sparkling. "I'm hungry. I want your pasta."

Su Rui raised an eyebrow. "Is this admitting defeat?"

"No, that's not it!" Jessica grabbed his collar. "It's a strategic retreat."

The kitchen was filled with the aroma of garlic and the sweet and sour scent of tomatoes. Jessica sat on the counter, swinging her legs as she watched Su Rui cook. His movements were clean and efficient, the rhythm of his chopping vegetables resembling some kind of elegant dance.

"Why are you such a good cook?" Jessica suddenly asked.
